Loved this experience! The view was spectacular! The house was a fantastic blend of old and new. Kitchen was well stocked and the chip jar on the counter was so welcoming. Linen and bathroom supplies were exceptional. The Bedroom options were perfect for an extended family vacation. The boys loved the dormer beds. The super soakers provided entertainment for the kids and adults! Bikes and kayaks, games and puzzles were enjoyed by everyone.The porch was our most favorite place to be together but we also enjoyed the dock experience. 5 Stars

The house had plenty of space and room for outdoor activity. We especially enjoyed the deck area. Kitchen oven could use a good clean but otherwise everything else is as advertised. We had a great Holiday weekend here.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We had a little snag at checkin where the code did not open the property, but the owner quickly reset and provided a new code. Very cute cabin set up and decor, and the thermostat worked great! They have a little ac unit and fan in the crows nest area so that was also comfortable temperature wise. The stairs were exceptionally steep and gave us all a workout to get up and down from the kitchen to the bedroom levels all weekend. Also the only shower is in the lower level with the kitchen, while all the bedrooms are on the main floor and crows nest area.

It was a very cute little home. The pictures make it seem a lot bigger than it is. The layout is odd with the kitchen, shower, and game room in the basement and the living room and 2 bedrooms on the main floor. THE STAIRS ARE VERY DANGEROUS! The “ stairs” or ladder to the loft doesn’t have a handrail and and very steep. The ramp on the side of the home didn’t have any sort of grip tape and was VERY slick. My mother in law and kids fell a few times. Only one keypad worked and it locked it each time with no one to turn it off so it was very annoying to constantly have to put the code in just to go on and off the deck. You also need a visitors pass to use the marina and recreation area however the one that was left in the home was expired. Thankfully the office gave us one pass to hang in one of the vehicles we had. You have to walk a quarter of a mile for a fishing spot a few miles for a spot to swim. The pool at the office has limited hours and costs per person. This house isn’t a good suit for older people or anyone with hip or knee issues. Overall it was a nice stay.

1st, it was hard to figure out which house it was because there were no numbers on the house. We decided to try the key code hoping we were not trying to open the wrong house. 2nd, THE STAIRS ARE VERY DANGEROUS!!!My daughter fell from the 2nd to the top, landed on her butt on the 4th from the top, falling off the side of the staircase onto her hands and knees on the floor below barely missing falling down the downstairs flight. She is 18 and was holding onto the one railing before she fell. The steps should be called a ladder bc you had to either turn around and climb down or hold the railing and turn sideways and hold the stair after stepping like i did. 100% do not recommend anyone staying up in that room. Besides that it was warm, clean, and comfortable.

The house was interesting with a quirky setup but met our needs. The dining room table was large enough for our Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was convenient to the gathering space downstairs. The kitchen needs some upgrades and more flatware, utensils, etc. The house was very clean with the exception of the outdoor space. The grill wasn’t usable. We traveled with our pet so always looking for pet friendly accommodations with a yard. The yard was not fenced in, which would have been fine but there was a neighbor dog around that made us uncomfortable. The location was great for enjoying the Land between the Lakes hiking area but there isn’t much else if you are looking for more than relaxing at the house. We enjoyed our fire pit daily, the kids loved all the games, and overall it was a good experience. One thing I would suggest is to offer cable or satellite. This is an issue for football fans in the fall. I can imagine this home would be perfect in the Summer due to the great lake location!

Very cute summer house. Loved the cabin like feel and the decorations are adorable. Very clean and over all fun. My only negative remarks are everything is very low. If you had/need a hip or knee replacement, this is not the right fit for you. All the beds are low, chairs are low except for one, and the tub wall is very high. But otherwise extremely cute!!!!

We were so happy staying here. Lots of parking room for trucks and trailers, plenty of room inside, great layout, very clean, end lot with lots of privacy and a cool airstrip right behind the property. Will always choose this place when we return to KY.

Took our FFA Chapter Officers on a retreat to do our yearly planning. The student had a great time and there was so much that they could do in the area. Loved all the board games that they had available for our rainy day.

Cabin was exactly as advertised. Very clean, kitchen well equipped, and very cute inside!! Great location to lake and boat rentals. Only minor negative , pool is closed on Wednesday. We would have rearranged our activity scheduled had we known that , but overall no biggie. Outdoor entertaining area was GREAT !! Communication with owner was PERFECT and punctual. Best communication we have had with and VRBO owner so far. We would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thank you !

Plenty of space for a family to spread out and relax. The upstairs and downstairs decks are spacious and relaxing and the fire pit outside is just simply wonderful...The beds were extremely comfortable, and the appliances were updated; one gets the feeling that the owner went out of their way to make you feel welcomed and at home. We had a small issue, but after contacting the owner, she went above and beyond what we expected. We love Benton, Ky and the fishing this year was amazing!!!

Very nice location. Gorgeous lot with beautiful mature tulip poplars. Interior was pretty clean, but the outside entertainment area had not been prepped for the season, It appeared. Lots of steep steps, a couple going into home, the staircase from the ground floor down the basement, and the ladder going onto the loft, I think this is very important for renters to know before hand. My mother is 72 and fell a couple of times coming up the front steps of the porch and another time coming up the steps from the basement. The A/C in the loft did not work, and it was really hot up there. I messaged the host 3 or 4 times through the app, asking some questions, I got 1, 7 word response to 1 of my questions, none of the others were answered. Nor did I get a response to the voice-mail I left. My family and I were staying there for a reunion. My brother drives an electric car and was not able to plug it into power, because the only available outlet is under the patio. He did buy a longer extension cord and made it work the next night. I have stayed at numerous VRBOs, and this is my first, less than stellar review, I'm sorry to give it, but I feel it's fair.

It was so nice. We went horseback riding, pattis, and burger place by Ky lake Marina. All was incredible. The house was so beautiful decorated. The fire pit, the decks, loved everything and perfect for my dog. The upstairs tv needs to be fixed but thank u for it all ❤️❤️
