We were indifferent. Place fulfilled the needs of our party, but the AC stopped working properly. We did call and the first time was hung up on (I’m hoping it was just a connection drop.) Then when we did get someone on the phone, we were told to hang out in the basement because it was cooler. This was after we told them we had a pregnant lady in our party. Not really the response that we expected. There were other issues that I had reported beforehand as well. Honestly just seems like they don’t put any money into the property for proper maintenance (mold buildup in showers and toilets.) Would I stay here again? Probably not, just due to how much it costs and the disappointing responses from the company running the property.

Peaceful

The property is well maintained. The surroundings are peaceful. It was conveniently located near the casino and winery we visited. The house only has one TV; but that gave us more time to make new memories.

It's a nice property. There are some minor issues with the house that need to be taken care of. Shower in basement is not sealed properly and there is what looks like mold starting to develop.

Overall Good Experience

The inside of the property was clean, but a little more dated than the photos reveal. The outside of the property was not particularly well maintained. All of it was perfectly serviceable, just not as high-end as the photos would lead you to believe. The neighborhood is a mix of some nice places and some really not-nice places. On the plus side, the hot tub was well-maintained and the fire pit was A-OK. The check-in process was smooth and communication was excellent. If you are looking to eat out you do have to drive 20-25 minutes to get to the nice restaurants.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This house was perfect for our group of 11 adults. Plenty of beds and two large tables (one indoor and one outdoor) where we could comfortably enjoy meals. The hot tub and fire pit were great amenities and the host was communicative. Would stay again.

Lovely Memorial Day weekend

The oculus was a great place to stay for our family over the holiday weekend. We had more than enough room for the kids and the location was close to many areas to hike, as well as mountain lake club. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor area was fantastic. We would stay again!

Stellar Cozy Cabin

Had an absolutely excellent cabin getaway here. The main cabin space has incredible natural light, with a warm, cozy feel. The beds are very comfortable and all amenities are great!

Very nice, rustic cabin with spacious rooms. The main road to the cabin and driveway are very challenging (steep/gravel). Nice back deck with hot tub and fire pit but needs more lighting in that area given the multiple steps from the deck and stone steps around that space.. Nice tv room downstairs but all streaming services which requires your own "log in" to watch anything. Our favorite room was the main family room by the fireplace - lots of space and great for visiting.

Great getaway

The area is absolutely beautiful. The house itself has updated bathrooms and a fairly modern kitchen. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space. The home was clean, but was a little worse for wear. Ceilings could use a little love and there are spider webs in some of the bathrooms. Overall it was a great experience and the aging building can easily be overlooked.
