“Honestly perfect! You get exactly what is advertised and then some--everything has been thought of inside this cozy loft (the coffee was clutch, I'd forgotten to bring any!!)I loved waking up to Teach the rooster and taking out my compost to feed Chadde. The walk to Little Pond was beautiful and it was so nice to be able to take the canoe for a morning paddle. Even though it was cold enough to snow, the heater in loft kept it warm--I didn't even need it at night. Will definitely be back!”

“This house lives up to its billing and reviews.  The isolation- even from neighbors- was wonderful, and the cabin quite comfortable.  Everything was nice and new.  We were impressed with the size of the kitchen, and were able to cook some elaborate meals.  The one night we didn't have cloud cover the sky was mind-blowing.  Even though the house is 500 road miles from our home, it's likely we'll come back.”

“Wonderful little cottage on the shore of a pond near Acadia National Park.The cottage is well equipped with everything necessary for short stays and it is very cozy and comfortable, up to 5 people. Furnitures are not new, but everything works and gives the feeling of being out in the Woods. The host was outstanding-- she even started a fire in the wood stove for us so that the cabin would be toasty when we arrived after a day of hiking in Acadia. “I loved it! I used this as a base camp to go hiking in Acadia NP, and it was perfect for that, but I also could have spent my entire two days at the property and been very content. As it was, I slept deeply on my air mattress in the loft and watched the beautiful sunrises while sitting at the shore and while eating breakfast at the table inside. We really enjoyed our stay at Josh and Megan’s cute home.We didn’t mind driving an hour to the main Acadia entrance and Bar Harbor since Corea is close to the Schoodic entrance of Acadia.This is our third stay near Acadia NP and second stay in Corea. For us, this quiet fishing town feels like the real Maine. There are many wonderful restaurants nearby and the Corea Co-op makes getting fresh lobster for dinner very easy.As for the house, it was very warm thanks to mini splits...
