“Lovely stay thank you ”

“This hotel is actually a group of newly renovated residential rooms located within an old historic castle, on very beautiful forested/gardened grounds that overlook the Stornoway harbor and town center. It’s just a short (approximately 15 minutes) walk from the castle to the center of Stornoway, with its restaurants, bars and shops. “Very nice and helpful couple”

“Had a lovely relaxing 4 night stay in North Light studio as a solo traveller with a dog. We had everything to make our stay comfortable including the complimentary North Uist distillery gin miniatures and Hebridean oatcakes, much appreciated. Weather mixed but we had a beautiful sunset viewed from the front of the studio. I’d highly recommend this stunning studio. Linda & Brora 🐶”

“This was a magical place to stay. I loved the standalone bath and the log burning stove. The views were incredible. I loved the touches of board games being available in the rooms and we enjoyed a game of Scrabble. The room felt like pure luxury and the taste in furniture and decor was impeccable - loved the tartan blanket company throw. We will definitely be back for a future special occasion!”

“Wonderful stay”

“We spent a wonderful week in an apartment in Lews Castle Stornoway. The apartment was very spacious, light and with high ceilings as befits a castle. Its location was excellent, in extensive grounds and in walking distance of Stornoway. It also had views of the harbour. We could watch ferries and cruise ships come in and out.”
