“It was clean and staff were helpful”

“The room is semi-modern, that wasn’t the issue. It’s that the room and the hallway had a horrid smell to it - a damp type mildewy smell that was putrid. It didn’t smell of body odor, or any type of specific uncleanliness or anything . It just seemed super damp and musty. It was hard to get out of your nose. My family survived by trying to spend as much time out of the hotel as possible.”

“Very new property. Feels like 5 star luxury hotel. Breakfast was full and neat.”

“This is a great old place that will take you back to 1985 and sooner.....Some of the furniture may be late 70s but that's OK. You even get a real key for your room! love it. The old couple that run this place are very nice and they keep the place clean. The price is good and its my go to when stopping in Hope.”

“This place smelled like cayenne pepper and curry. Just a poor establishment. I won’t ever stay here again. Asked for main floor and was told “no you won’t like it” I wanted to pay with a different credit card and they put it through anyways. Expired coffee and coffee mate in the room. Just overall disappointing and gross.”

“The toilet at this chalet is smarter than me. Complimentary slippers and treats, mini toothpaste bottles and ac in every room made our stay delightful. The place is under renovations, but the room itself was fully modernized and spotless. Rain shower, solid wifi, and comfortable beds were the topping on the cake. Loved it and will stop here again.”

“My stuff was taken from my room by the cleaning staff when I was gone for the day (they gave it back the next day), there was water dripping through the ceiling in the bathroom, the room was supposed to be a mountain view but was a view of the grimey inner courtyard and all the other rooms, there were no chairs in the room to sit on, and the pillows were the lumpiest smallest worst hotel pillows ever.”
