“Beautifully situated house in a beautiful area! Equipped with all conveniences. We were pleasantly surprised by the outdoor space/garden next to and behind the house.Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in Lake District.The partly unpaved road to the house is fabulous but bumpy. Despite doable, even with a lower car, so don't let that put you off!We loved our stay and are inspired by the nature in this beautiful area. Lots of walking paths It was more than worth the trip from the Netherlands.”

“Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again”

“Lovely cottage in central Windermere. The cottage is very close to the train station and central to all the shops and restaurants in Windermere. The cottage is very well appointed with lots of books and brochures about the area. We found this super helpful! Everything was super clean, the beds very comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. The hosts were very responsive with any questions we had. We highly recommend this cottage for your vacation stay and would definitely stay here again!”

En cuanto a la casa, decir que es necesario mejorar muchas cosas para que la estancia sea cómoda y placentera, empezando como punto principal por la limpieza. En nuestro caso, no estuvimos del todo agusto con esto. Las dimensiones del alojamiento son algo pequeñas pero suficiente para 2, 3 personas como mucho.”

“We loved this property. It was perfect for us plus our small dog. The outside space was lovely with it's enclosed garden and small wood beside. “We had a very enjoyable 4 nights at Lind End Cottage. We were warmly greeted by Janet, who was very friendly. The cottage was clean and very well laid out with a wonderful view from the dining room.The bed was comfortable and a good shower plenty of hot water and at a decent pressure.On leaving Janet called in to see if were happy with everything and to chat about our bike rides and walking trips.
