For us, our accommodations while we vacation are as important as the activities that we do. We have a large family with multiple married couples so finding just the right place can be tricky. This house suited our needs perfectly because it had three bedrooms for couples along with two bedrooms with bunkbeds for kids. Everyone in our group had just the right place to sleep each night. Beyond this basic necessity, the house was located just a short walk from the beach (seriously, like 2 minutes down a lovely grass path). I think that one of the things that I will miss most is the view of the waves rolling in on the beach and palm trees swaying in the breeze that can be seen through the sliding glass door while sitting at the counter. The house is also located conveniently close to major attractions like the Polynesian Cultural Center, CLIMB Works zip lining, Kualoa Ranch, the LDS temple, BYU Hawaii, the Sugar Mill (get the coconut shrimp at Seven Brothers). Other things like Shark's Cove, Turtle Beach, and Waimea Botanical Garden/Falls are about 30 Minutes away. The Dole Planation is 45 minutes. Anything in Honolulu is an hour away (Pearl Harbor, Airport, Sea Life Park). However, while you are driving, you always have the ocean on one side and gorgeous mountains on the other so even driving in Hawaii is really part of the vacation. The house was clean and well stocked. The manager was responsive any time that we needed anything.
