Great location to access the majestic Flinders Ranges. This is outback Australia, so expect dust, insects and poor mobile reception (we got weak 4G on an Optus carrier). The property itself was comfortable and well equipped, although it is old (threadbare, stained carpets, torn curtains, dodgy flyscreens). This didn't bother us at all as the price was excellent value for the location and during school holidays. It is a working farm so expect livestock and barking dogs. I would happily stay again.

This cottage had all the comforts of home and was a great base to explore the Flinders from. The host family were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed being here, it was so peaceful. Will definitely stay again. Thanks heaps Emily

The cottage has a 60's vibe. It was clean, everything worked. It was quiet, private and near the main farmhouse. Beautiful spot, lovely sunsets and sunrises if you are into that. We were greeted occasionally by a friendly dog and cat. The host's communication was great prior to our arrival and we didn't need to make contact during our stay. Would recommend!

Great little place, amazing remote location, the house has absolutely everything you could need. The small white dog that came for visits was a bonus :)

No. Outside bin, lovely dogs and the ginger cat was. Friendly- but no kangaroos! Kitchen well stocked- nice and quiet stay

Our stay at Hillview

Perfect location for our stay. The house was roomy and comfortable. The owners kindly provided a fire drum so the boys could enjoy a camp fire.

Comfortable stay

The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and is in a great location to expore the Flinders Ranges. We also loved our visits from the friendly cat and dog who visited us daily!

Handy and comfortable

Basic but all you need, great location for further exploration of the Flinders. Friendly hosts and bonus cat and dog to greet you morning and evening.

Peaceful and quiet

This little cottage is 70's style, no frills but has all you need for a stay close to Wilpena without other people around. The sunsets are amazing and the location perfect for exploring the Flinders Ranges.

A nice 2 bedroom house with everything you need - I needed some Glad Wrap and just knew there would be some. Quiet, comfortable, easy to get to and Emily was very helpful. Also had a very enthusiastic welcome from a little dog. It is also a good base from which to explore the Flinders Ranges. Will definitely stay there again

Very clean, very quite location. 10 klm from hawker, a safe drive to town and worth the effort for the location.

Secluded little spot

Great location. Way better than a caravan park/cabin as there is no one else around for miles (except the owners house nearby). Perfect for a family of 4. Would definitely return.
