A wonderful visit
We stayed for one night at Lukan's for a visit to Bethel Woods. It wasn't the closest hotel but it seemed like the best value and it looked like it had a lot to offer. We are so glad we stayed and wished we could have stayed longer. The resort is 65 years old and has an old world feel but it is incredibly well maintained. The grounds are beautiful. There is a beautiful pool, a couple of goats and chickens and a very small mini golf course and horseshoes. The room was huge with two double beds. It was very comfortable, very clean. The ceilings are beautiful wood planking and are very high and arched. We loved it. We got breakfast at 8 am at the resort and it was delicious and plentiful. The food just kept coming. We didn't need to eat lunch that day. The owners were just so lovely. We enjoyed talking with them very much and they were very accommodating and helpful. We also bought some of the honey that is made on site. It was also delicious. There is so much to do. We didn't have a chance to fish on one of their stocked lakes but we plan to next year, as we are sure we'll be back.
