Overall, the house was beautiful and the neighborhood unique. There's a beautiful view of the lake from the deck. At first the communication with the Management company was excellent. They replied to my message almost immediately the first day. But upon arrival we noticed many random broken things. I immediately notified them and after that email I received no reply for the next 3 days. One of the things was an off and on running toilet. There were also broken handles, one on a sink and one on a sliding door. The downstairs had a smell. I couldn't quite tell if it was just stagnant air or leftover dog smell from the prior renter. Even with airing it out the smell was constant. Lots of little things here and there. The house was very clean. But it was not at the detail it should have been for its listing. We had planned on having a movie night and the screen downstairs was not working. I reached out and asked for help and there was no reply. It appears the check in book created for the property is very dated as most of the information was not accurate. Like directions for the movie screen downstairs. And upon checkout after we followed the book, I had an email from the management company saying completely different checkout instructions. Overall, if these little things get fixed it would be an awesome place to return. I got this for a steal of a deal. But I would never return at full price especially with all the communication errors and misleading advertisement.
