St Marys es un acogedor bungalow de tres dormitorios ubicado a 10 minutos a pie del paseo marítimo de Hayling Island y de la hermosa franja de playa de Hayling, perfectamente ubicado para disfrutar de las impresionantes vistas del Solent.

La isla de Hayling es ideal para turistas y familias, ya que conserva todos los atractivos de un balneario tradicional. Una de las atracciones más importantes es el Funland Amusement Park en Beachlands, que tiene de todo, desde montañas rusas hasta una sala de juegos y una zona de juegos. El ferrocarril de Hayling Seaside, que se extiende desde Beachlands hasta Eastoke Corner, es igualmente popular.

La isla también es conocida por sus deportes acuáticos, de hecho, aquí se inventó el windsurf, y millas de glorioso paseo marítimo. El agua local es perfecta para navegar, practicar windsurf, lancha motora, motos acuáticas y más.

El área de la cocina está bien equipada con un hervidor de agua, cocina, nevera, congelador, microondas, tostadora, lavadora y muchos armarios, ideal para auto-atenderse durante su estancia.

Las tres habitaciones, dos habitaciones dobles y una habitación con literas, son amplias y están bellamente decoradas, todas con grandes ventanales que hacen que las habitaciones se sientan amplias y luminosas.

El baño tiene una bañera sobre la ducha, el inodoro y el lavabo con un espejo grande, y también se proporcionan sábanas y toallas limpias. Aparcamiento gratuito también disponible y WIFI.

This is a great property for children, very close to shops for food within walking distance. Privacy garden to sit in. Good parking places.

Great Location

The bungalow was very spacious and is located very close to a park and fields for dog walking and is about a 20 minute walk to the beach.The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We had a couple of minor problems but once notified, he came quickly to sort things out for us. We would definitely stay there again.

Visit to see family

Lovely bungalow contains all you need and is clean and tidy. Great location, very close to shops and takeaways. The Owner (Mr O’Shea) was very welcoming and is very dog friendly. I celebrated my 60th birthday during our stay and was surprised when a card, wine and chocolates where left for me from the O’Shea’s. Will definitely be back again

A few days on Hayling Island

The house was very comfortable with a small garden for the dog. It would have been useful to have some coat hooks in the hall and two extra, comfortable seats in the lounge (there were 4 but the house sleeps 6). Also it was short of cereal/ fruit bowls. Otherwise well equipped and convenient for walks to the beaches and shops. We enjoyed our stay here.

so dirty

lovely place but was so dirty not one clean plate / cup/ pan in oven with dirty fat in cob webs on cob webs they been there so long they gone dark in colour they hanging of the walls ,we sweep floor there was so much long black hair wasnt ours iv got no hair and my dads very short grey .broken loo seat not good for disabled dad iv stay in a lot of hol homes never send one so dirty

Lovely warm and sunny house

Nice welcome pack of tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits. Also a thank you pack of wine and chocolates at the end of the stay. The house suited our needs, very basic but clean and very warm - the heating was great and the owners popped it on before our arrival which was nice. Lots of sun in the mornings in the dining room, which was very welcome. Some of the down sides were very poor internet service (often had to go outside and stand near the fence to the owners adjoining property to get any service) and very poor TV reception. Otherwise a great basic stay

Did the job but not great

Good locations. Check-in and access and communication was all great. Recliner chairs in the lounge were nice (worth noting there’s only four of them so any additional people would have to sit on dining chairs). Our five year old loved the bunk beds! Having the enclosed garden was helpful with two young kids. The place needs a really good clean though. Found hairs and crumbs all over the place, and needed to wash some of the cutlery before using it. The main bed sags a bit in the middle bed, the hot water in the shower kept cutting out, and there were mould marks on the living room cushions.

Sehr geräumiger Bungalow in zweiter Reihe im Ortskern von South Hayling. Die Wohnung ist mit dem notwendigsten ausgestattet, die komfortablen TV-Sessel lassen auch regnerische Tage gut verleben. Sehr gute Heizung und Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustür. Ein CoOp und mehrere Restaurants sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

Lovely Stay on Hayling Island (our Dad's childhood home)

The bungalow is in an excellent location, with three bedrooms, a lounge diner and a garden. The kitchen is very small but usable and well equipped. The owner lives in front and is very friendly and helpful - he even let us hold a small gathering after a family memorial we travelled down for and offered to let our guests park on his drive. A few tips that would make the holiday even better (keeping in mind that the bungalow already represents excellent value for money given its location and size): There are NO hooks anywhere (other than the smallest bedroom to make up for the cupboard housing the boiler). If there was a row of hooks in the hallway for coats, and a few in the bathroom for towels, clothes, etc., this would make a huge difference for very little cost. A couple of hooks on the back of each bedroom door and on the side of the sink (for tea towels) would also be helpful. The curtains were thin and light coloured. This means that they let nearly all the light in, including all through the night as there are street lights on both sides of the bungalow on the infant school site, and the public car park the other side. I strongly recommend investing in black-out blinds and/or curtains. it may also help to insulate the bungalow. The bungalow sleeps 6 but there were only 5 tall glasses. The mattresses were adequate but had seen better days. The pine furniture is practical but looks old and out of keeping with a modern bungalow. The TV service was poor - it didn't even seem to include standard Freeview which was a shame with the children there. Please don't take the above as reasons not to book - we had a great time and would book again! :)

Lovely getaway home

Very clean and tidy, spacious. Perfect for 6 people sharing. Close to shops and beech. Very easy to check in and depart.

A two week stay in a very nice location.

Great for the shops, buses & take away meals etc. 10 min walk to the beach.....which is brilliant for picnics etc.

It's O.K.

This property has 2 things going for it, the location (in the middle of the island) & there is a Co-op a few minutes walk away. The problem we had was that the beds and furniture were very uncomfortable, but someone else might find them O.K., we are all different afterall.
