Hayscastle Tump - a Bronze Age Round Barrow Hidden in the trees behind the house, Brynamlwg (which translates as 'Prominent Hill') the Bronze Age barrow is 32 metres diameter by 2 metres high. From checking in…to checking out everything was amazing . Staff were friendly ,we had breakfast and an evening meal which were both excellent, our room was lovely and comfortable.

The approach to Treffgarne Gorge. Near Treffgarne, the birthplace of Welsh hero Owain Glyndwr, south of Wolf's Castle, the western branch of the River Cleddau cuts its way through a narrow gorge which it shares with both the A40 road and the railway from Fishguard. Above them all are the ruins of Maiden Castle.
