“Unfortunately our booked apartment accommodation was unavailable due to a gas leak. However, we were moved to a nice double room and given free breakfast to make up for this. We were also offered 50 % of dinner but the available dining slots were extremely limited so couldn't use that. It was a very comfy hotel, with a great shower, a pleasant mile walk to Keswick. I'd definitely stay again”

“We loved this property. It was perfect for us plus our small dog. The outside space was lovely with it's enclosed garden and small wood beside. Views over to Blencathra were stunning and offered us an ideal spot to just chill out especially after some walking in the hills.Difficult to tear yourself away but will definitely return.”

“Very nice place, we felt like at home here. Everything was clean. The apartment has everything you need, you can cook, you can relax. The town is beautiful. Shops literally across the street. Cheap parking right next to the apartment. The owners are very helpful and answer all questions very quickly. I would definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it. “We enjoyed our stay in the little apartment. It was in a great location for exploring the local area. It was well stocked with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The only thing that let it down was that some of the crockery was quite worn & chipped. We had to wash it all before use as there were still remnants from previous guest's food which was disappointing. ”

“The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!”
