“Great stay at Hipp’s. Very quiet lake, with good fishing. Caught small and large mouth bass, pan fish and pike (32”) too. Enjoyed the canoe with nice backrests on a fun lake to explore. Very nice area, quiet at night.”

Wanted to use the kayaks they supply but it was raining so we played games and we were able to get the PWHL playoff hockey game on the smart tv which was amazing! Downtown Hayward is a short ride away and we spent a day walking around this cute town. The beds are very comfortable which we were all thankful for.”

Cabin is on a great spot on the lake with a beautiful view. A few steps down to the water. Rocky shoreline and the water was crystal clear. The cabin has been recently updated. During our stay we had morning coffee on the screened in porch, reading and enjoying the views on the outdoor deck, and also spent time on the bench on the dock watching the visiting swans (we saw 22 one day!). “This is a truly luxurious lake house in a perfect spot. Very spacious, very clean, with a set of welcoming soft drinks, snacks and chocolates. We skied and skated on the lake and ran our Korte race. The host was very accommodating to our special requests at no additional charge. Highly recommended.”
