A Great Week

Love it

I absolutely love it here. I’ve stayed here with my family before and loved it so much we had to come back. Kevin is great at responding if I had any questions leading up to my trip. It’s perfect because you can walk to the lodge or the landing for appetizers and a soda or even park island for a great fish fry. I will absolutely be back again thanks again !

Girls Getaway

Great property for a weekend getaway with friends. Our intent was to just hang out, play games, etc. The kitchen was nicely stocked for our chili cook off. We enjoyed the view of the lake, fireplace, and watching our Packers beat the Cowboys on the massive TV. The host was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend.

Wonderful cabin retreat

Overall very impressed with the cabin, it was very clean and the perfect space for a weekend getaway. The host was amazing and very accommodating. Only downside is the 4th bedroom is only separated by a curtain which is not pictured or in the description of the room.

beautiful, spacious, clean, well stocked get away for a ladies trip!

The cabin was beautiful, so well decorated and well stocked. Large deck looking out on the water. Beds are comfortable. Great location to meet a large variety of interests in activities. The place is located in a resort so be prepared to have multiple neighbors. On a beautiful lake and found it to be a quiet, scenic location overall. I would come back again.

Days of leisure and fishing

We arrived to find a beautiful cabin that was meticulously clean and had a great view of the lake. It was nice to find quality dishes and cookware, comfy beds and linens. We had no problems, but Kevin was always available to answer questions. My only suggestion is that the pontoon's upholstery be replaced. We highly recommend this property and hope to return next summer. Thank you for the use of your wonderful cabin, Kevin. Ellen

NELSON GETAWAY

They property was very nice. The owner’s take care of the inside very well. Very well equipped with everything you need. The outside needs a little work 3 grills on deck not sure why, picnic table didn’t like and chairs not in great condition. Screen door need to be fixed the screen was damaged when we got there. We would definitely stay there again

Beautiful spot for a family vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay at Lake Nelson. The house was beautiful and was stocked with anything and everything that you could possible need. We enjoyed our days at the sunken beach not far from our pier. The kids caught fish after fish. We also enjoyed our time at the three other resorts on the lake that had game rooms and food. The owners were great to work with. The kids and I kayaked daily. Highly recommend this place for your next family vacation.

Great winter getaway

We loved our recent stay at this cabin on Nelson Lake. The open set up with wide counter/bar made prepping meals easy. We loved the cozy feel with the fireplace, living room and kitchen all together. We enjoyed day trips to Porcupine Lake Wilderness, Cable recreational trails, Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and local recreational trails. Great location for a winter getaway!

Beautiful getaway with all the fixings (even for our pup!)

The cabin itself is gorgeous, all wood and super cozy. Arrived and everything was clean, which was important to us due to COVID. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with every cooking pot, pan, and accessory you could want! And I mean EVERYTHING. We made every meal here during our week stay and we’re never caught off guard hunting for a spatula or vegetable peeler or anything else. And they even had little poop bags and a headlamp by the door for emergency trips outside with our dog. Morning views of the lake were perfect, and the area is incredibly quiet. Would recommend highly to anyone looking to getaway with their dog for a quiet escape.

Family vacation

The lake home and Nelson Lake were beautiful. Our family made a week of great memories. Fishing, kayaking, pontooning and swimming in the lake. Able to relax by the fire at night, able to bring our dogs. Inside of home was big enough for all 7 of us, loved the central air and big kitchen. We were very pleased. Thank you Jacki and Mike.

Really enjoyed the windows facing the lake. Loved seeing the sun shine off the lake in the AM. Very comfortable beds. Liked the large yard.
