The Taiga House - inspiring mountain views at the edge of Denali National Park

  • Back on the market after taking 2 years off to rent out yearly.

    The Taiga House is located in the forest just north of Denali National Park. Once a spacious B&B known as "The Grand View" it has been remade into a family home with two vacation rentals. Our three bedroom, second floor residence is attached, yet private, with an entrance and yard of it's own, amazing views of the local mountains scenery and abundant charm. It sleeps six, with 2 queen beds and a daybed with trundle bed under, full bath, spacious living room/dining and fully equipped kitchen plus a washer/dryer.
    There is a bar-b-que grill, picnic table, fire pit and amazing wilderness just outside the door.
    There are restaurants, a brew pub, and a full grocery stores just a ten minute walk down the trail, or a two minute drive away, and many more restaurants, bars and shops twelve miles south in the bustling tourist zone known as Glitter Gulch outside the entrance to Denali Park.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We stayed 3 nights. The hosts are amazing and so helpful. Easy to get around and alot of hiking in the area. Close to Denali.

Location is convenient to Denali National Park. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The rental was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked well with kitchen and bathroom items. The property has a beautiful view of the mountains and is well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

This cute house had great views of some mountain ranges as well as being surrounded by trees & shrubs in a spaced out neighborhood. A brewery is nearby and Denali park is very close. This place was our groups favorite place to stay during our 2 weeks in Alaska.

The property is in a great location - close to the grocery store in Healy and the Denali Park entrance. It was just as described in the listing - three bedrooms and one bath. But the real star of the show is the view out the windows to the distant mountains - breathtaking!

The cabin in Healy is very convenient for everything in/around Denali National Park, which is about 15 minutes away. The gas grill appeared to be brand new and was great for making dinners. The cabin had everything you could want and was very clean. The view is spectacular and we saw a moose right outside the door. We would definitely stay again.

Since the place is on the second level you get an amazing view. We left Denali early one day due to SNOW on May 31 and picked up dinner and just sat at the table for hours talking and enjoying the view. The host are great and the place was perfect for us!

The house was great! We really appreciated the bear spray and bug spray. Super clean, super confident for the park. Lots of parking. We also loved the dogs! Part of our group saw a mom moose and a baby moose. Thanks so much!

The home is very well laid out, spacious, clean and the hosts were responsive. The views are nice, the parking is convenient and we had a great stay. The laundry was easy and ready to go. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked quite a bit. The coffee they provided was great. We saw moose from the windows and the beds are quite comfortable.

The host was very nice and responsive. The view from the home was incredible - plus there was the bonus of a moose walking through the yard. The home is only about 20 minutes to Denali National Park. There were plenty of towels and kitchen supplies available and it was convenient to the local grocery store and gas station.

A beautiful house. Everything you would need except air conditioning. It was hot in one bedroom, my grand daughter moved to sleep on the couch where it was cooler. I do recommend the house to everyone.

We were very comfortable, the location was great, close to town but away from the hustle and bustle. The wildlife was fun to watch. We have no complaints and would recommend to anyone. Would not recommend to anyone who has issues with stairs. Thank you Todd and Julie for a fabulous 3 days!

Location is great for possible wildlife viewing. House was quiet and has great views of the mountains. Very close to Denali and places for gas, groceries, and restaurants. I would recommend staying here.

Beautiful sceney and very comfortable place to stay, only a short drive to Denali entrance and 49th st brewery. We saw a moose and her baby by the road to the house. We loved every minute of our stay.

Our stay at The Taiga House was amazing. We were greeted by Todd on arrival. His kindness and enthusiasm was infectious. Our kids said he was the coolest person and it really made our stay special. The view from the house makes you feel like you’re living in a painting. It was so cool. The Taiga House was perfect for our family of 6. Todd and Julie made us feel like we were family visiting for a few days. We have stayed at many properties and The Taiga house was the most special place we have stayed at. Mahalo, Todd and Julie!

Great spot in Denali

We loved our stay here in Denali. This is a great spot and location. Hiking in property and amazing views! Todd and Julie are great! Super informative and incredibly nice. I highly recommend staying here!
