Weekend at the falls

The rental was a perfect stay for a weekend away! We had quick access to local restaurants and the Fall festival at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. The accommodations were a perfect fit for us!

Love this area

This was our 2nd stay at Sunset Bay condos. This condo was great being right on the lake front. We love the area lots to do.

Right on the lake close to the boat dock. Area was big enough for our family of 7 to spread out and enjoy our time there.

Beautiful Place Right on the Water

This place is spacious, clean and has everything you need for a great getaway. The hosts are personable and guest oriented. They have a lot of retro board games which were fun. Great outdoor spaces and lake views Its just an excellent place

Home was very clean, beautiful view of lake. Very nice sitting area to enjoy on porch w view. Quiet community. Several things to do nearby. Suggest for dinner; The Oaks Lakeside, Enrico’s was my fav! Would definitely rent this home again! Wonderful location.

Excellent location, nice rooms, kitchen, baths and layout of bedrooms. Great view. The beds would have been perfect if we were 20 years younger. But two of my guests had back problems and the beds weren't comfortable for them. So we had to vacate the property early even though we liked everything else about it.

Lovely Getaway

This condo is very spacious and well equipped. For those that may have difficulty negotiating stairs, be aware that there is a short flight of stairs from the parking lot level to the front door. We visited during Thanksgiving week, so the lake was low, but the view was still picturesque. We were pleasantly surprised that the beds were more comfortable that your average rental. There were a few items that I could scrutinize, but they are easy fixes that I will make the management company aware of. Overall, we would recommend this property.

Relaxing & Peaceful Location, with Adventure & Fun!

My teenagers and I went to Hiawassee for water sports, adventures, fun & to have some special time together before my daughter headed off for college. This trip was fabulous & exceeded expectations! Condo was immaculate, well maintained, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and peaceful. It is lake-front and only a 7 min walk to marina where we able to rent a captained boat for the day & go water-skiing & tubing. Even though air temp was in the low 70s dues to rain, the water was warm and comfortable. Bring own beach towels (or buy when arrive) if you plan to go boating, white water rafting, etc. And, maybe long sleeves. Literally some of the best night's sleep I’ve had away from home. I’m a light sleeper & typically don’t sleep well on vacations. Easy & quiet to get some work done & take conference calls - while teens slept. Master suite had a large desk for work and internet speed was great. Pickle ball & tennis were not on-site, but a 5-15 min drive respectively. - May need reservations, not sure because of rain and other plans we never played. We arrived late the first night and did not have time to go to the store before the next morning. Typically, I bring my own coffee & sweetener when I travel, but I forgot both this time. That's my only suggestion - to provide coffee & sweetener for the 1st morning in case someone else is in a similar situation. I only drink 1 cup/day & would have been nice to enjoy mountain/lake view before starting the day.

Perfection!

It was such a lovely home with everything and more than you need! Beautiful views and excellent location! We will definitely stay here again! The trip was flawless! Perfect for a family vacation! We enjoyed toasting in 2023 in this home!

Wonderful stay and beautiful views

Everything was well furnished and maintained. The lake view was beautiful and included a covered boat slip to use if needed. Great floor plan also. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy! Will look forward to staying again in the future.

Beautifull Townhome

The town home is huge, much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Exceptionally clean, and has honestly everything you need and then some! I loved that the owners had handwritten notes encouraging you to get out and enjoy Hiawassee, as well as details on the condo's amenities. They also stocked the place with so many board games, cards and books! We had a great family game night, thank you so much for your thoughtfulness!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Beautiful property with Great Lake view and convenient location by boat rental company. There is a busy road to the left that creates some noise but this wouldn’t deter us from staying here again. Well stocked kitchen.

Thanksgiving week vacation

The home is everything the website stated it would be. The view of the lake was fantastic, the rear deck give you a perfect view. We went up to spend Thanksgiving there and we're not sure what kitchen items we would need to bring to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. We were very surprised to see a kitchen that was as well stocked as this one was. This kitchen had everything we needed from coffee maker, toaster, even a Crock-Pot. We will definitely come back since we come to the lake three or four times every year. I can't wait to come and take advantage of the boat slip because we always like to rent a pontoon.

Relaxing lake retreat

We had a very enjoyable stay here. Every kitchen tool we could possibly need was available to us. The location was great, view was beautiful and the condo was very clean. I would highly recommend this home!

Short Summer Getaway

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. We love it. It’s nice and clean and close to all we love to do. Yet it’s also nice and quiet. We will be back as often as we can.
