Hiawassee vacation

This home was spotlessly clean and very well furnished. The location was great for our plans of touring and hiking Hiawassee and surrounding areas. Everything was provided, including extra towels, serving bowls, extra blankets, and an amazing game room with ping pong, pool, skeet ball, and other games. We plan on another trip in the near future! Very worthy!

Peaceful

The early morning mist hung over the peaceful Mountain View seen from the rear porch. We sat in the rockers and drank coffee while enjoying the stillness of the early day. Wonderful, quiet and peaceful.

Very relaxing

This property had everything to ensure you can relax and just sit back and enjoy, peace and quiet. The grandkids enjoyed the gameroom and swings. If you want to getaway from city traffic and noise or just need a break, this is the perfect spot. Bring your clothes, grab some groceries from local grocery store not far from site and you can enjoy good conversation with family. Bring your own board games to enjoy if your not interested in pool table, ping pong etc...coffe and wine on back patio was great. I will be planning a girls trip there real soon.

Very nice place. Would recommend.

The house was really nice. Clearly, much effort has been put into remodeling and making it look nice and clean and bright. I appreciated the electronic entry thingy, super convenient. I LOVE that everything has a little label on it, LOL, it's exactly what I would do if I owned a rental! Everything you need is here, just bring yourselves. The large windows in the living room look out to the surrounding rolling hills and it's lovely. The humongous wraparound porch is also very relaxing. We found it a little awkward to have someone staying in "the suite" because I thought it was on a separate floor but turns out it shares a wall with the master bedroom. If you are sensitive to having neighbors within earshot, be aware of this. We're not accustomed to it, is the only reason it bothered me. Another thing to be aware of is, it's a very long, steep, meandering drive up the hill to the house and the turns are not very well labeled. Don't trust Google Maps, these are private roads Google doesn't know exist. Get there during daylight if possible to make initially finding it a lot easier and then you're golden.

We loved our stay at this wonderful home We wish we could've stayed longer! Beautiful view, great, open floor plan with wonderful relaxing porch and all the supplies you would need. We will definitely be back! We did hear the people arriving one night at the attached suite but wasn't too bad. Wouldn't stop us from definitely coming back!

Hiawassee Happy!

The house was great! Although we weren't there long enough to enjoy the yard, it was cute with little figurines all around. The layout of the house is perfect and the wrap around porch was lovely. House was extremely clean. Got a little lost trying to find it once we got off the main road (it was dark and rainy) The sounds/noise of the guests that stayed in the Suite is not really an annoyance, but you definitely are aware that they are there. Overall though, I would highly recommend this property.

Peaceful and awesome location!

We spent 2 nights at this location with our friends and we strongly recommend it. In a very quiet place, surrounded by pristine forest, the house is clean, warm and has everything needed to enjoy great time.

Great place to stay

Overall this was a really nice place, comfortable, well equipped, we stayed in the house. The suite was occupied some of the time, but aside from sharing the game room, I’m not sure we noticed or heard the other guests. The kids definitely enjoyed the game room on the rainy days. It’s off the beaten path, which is okay as it’s very quiet and serene.

My Favorite ALL TIME Property

I cannot say enough about this incredible property. The location is perfect, home is beyond comfortable and clean (which is very rare in my experience with vacation rentals), everything is labeled (including light switches) and the check in, check out processes have been a breeze. Very clean

Very good property. We stayed for 2 wks with friends for one of those weeks. You pass some not so good properties on the way to get to this but was well worth it. Liked the split floor plan, big kitchen & porch. Everything well marked, meaning what was private & which light switches were for which lights. Don’t miss trip to Bell Mountain, spectacular, quite a hike but outstanding view of entire area. S & S, Ft Myers, FL

Great Location - Super Clean & Cozy!

Perfect location and better than what we anticipated. Super clean and had all the home touches and care. Spacious and the wraparound porch was perfect for the mornings, afternoon teas and outdoor dinners. Loved it!

A wonderful place “away from it all”. Clean and comfortable lots of space, nice rocking chairs on the deck. The network PW works but on the provider networks. Ignore the written instructions as the network name listed doesn’t work with the PW provided.

Great mountain getaway home

Just spent four days staying at this great mountain home. We just loved it!! Everything was clean and well marked in the kitchen. The driveway was large and spacious. The wrap around deck was awesome for having morning coffee and welcoming the day. We rented the main house and although another couple was renting the suite, we didn’t know they were there. The game room downstairs is awesome. The home is a very short ride into town, like 3-5 mins. We will definitely consider landing here again next time we need a little mountain time away.

Very nice

Very nice unit, quite neighborhood, pretty good view of a mountain from rocking chairs on the porch. Game room is great but we only used it a little as we were pretty busy with other activities . Checkout time of 10 am is way too early. Overall we were very pleased.

Stayed here with friends that are looking to buy in this area.Beautiful views.House was very clean and well furnished.You do not have the whole property.Part of the house is a separate apartment but for us that was not a problem.Would Stay here again.
