A fisherman's paradise - trout fishing right in front of your own cabin - catch your limit on the beautiful clear waters of the fast-flowing Chattahoochee River. This cabin was amazing! My husband and boys had a blast catching trout right on the river behind the cabin. They also enjoyed the hot tub a few times. The walk to town was nice and convenient. Helen is small but filled with great finds and experiences. There are also many waterfalls within a half hour of the cabin that were breath taking! Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to be on the river and close to town.

Helton Falls was a short hike and beautiful.

We had a great time at River’s Edge. The cabin was cozy, clean, and exactly what we were hoping for. The fire pit was a highlight—perfect for relaxing evenings by the river.The location couldn’t be better: right on the river and just minutes from downtown Helen, so it felt peaceful without being remote.The host was attentive, responsive, and available whenever we needed anything, which made the stay completely stress-free.Would absolutely stay here again. Five stars all the way.

Enjoyed our stay. Cabin is a little dark. We enjoyed the outside fire pit abs mist of all the stream. Oktoberfest was a blast.

Wonderful cabin right on the river! We enjoyed the spacious cabin, especially the deck over the river. This was the perfect spot for a weekend of trout fishing! After fishing and exploring the town it was nice to come “home” to a relaxing hot tub and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. We’re already planning our return trip next year!

Relaxing River Retreat

Our stay was amazing! Going to sleep at night with the sound of the river was so peaceful. We loved being able to wake up in the morning and sip our coffee overlooking the babbling river. We definitely plan on booking this rental again.

Pictures on ad were misleading, thought my husband and I would be staying in a private cabin, but our view across from the creek was a home with a bunch of junk in the yard, hot tub didn’t work, and would have been pointless to sit in the hot tub with no privacy because the neighbor was constantly walking around his yard. Bed was comfortable and the atmosphere inside was cozy, and I liked the convenience of being close to downtown Helen. Wouldn’t stay there again though, no privacy was a big factor.
