Super convenient to Betty's, which is our favorite after hours wind down spot. VRBO did not send us the code to get into the building, just our room, so we were locked out for a minute. We had to call customer service and they gave us the code.

Perfect Stay

My husband and I visited for Oktoberfest. We loved our stay and it was a perfect location. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Location and parking was very convenient to downtown. We will definitely be back!

Great Location

very nice updated property. Close to Betty’s country store. Shower was awesome. I saw a lot of reviews on the church bales but they did not bother us at all we’re not loud or disturbing as described it’s drizzly it was actually very soothing. Thank you for this upscale clean property! Good Job!! Will be back!!!

The room was amazingly clean and the bed was comfortable. It would be helpful to have a small table and a couple of chairs as no where to put take out food to eat while in the room.

So close to everything

Nice, recently remodeled, in the middle of town - short walk to all Helen has to offer. Clean with the exception of the bathroom rug (I shook it out) and the area rug needed a bit of a Hoovering. Pillows a little flat, mattress ok, bathroom sink was draining slowly (not a problem during our stay, but will probably become a problem if not cleared). Had a mini-frig, micro, coffeemaker (BYO coffee and cups, but filters were there). Plenty of storage, big bathroom with plenty of towels and TP. Outlets near bed on each side for convenient mobile charging, good WIFI, nice TV. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

Excellent but listing the name of the building would be super helpful!!

Beautiful room and so clean, however, listing the name of the property itself would be incredibly helpful!! There is no street number listed on the building (or the neighboring buildings) so it was a bit difficult to locate. If Upcountry Inn was in the listing it would have been super easy to find!

Prime Location!

Upcountry is located in the perfect spot in Helen …MAIN STREET! Our room was super clean & everything was 100% modern. We could not Abe asked for better! There is a little trick to opening the door so we could not get in when we arrived but they had a super nice property person there within 5 minutes to help! Great Great Great! We will return!

At Home in Helen!

Excellent accommodations in Helen! Centrally located, safe and beautiful! Very clean, modern and farmhouse fresh! I am a single lady of 60 years old and felt very safe and comfortable! Walking distance to everything! I’d stay again in a heartbeat! I enjoyed hearing the church bells ring! The lock was a little tricky so I had to call. It was a pretty lengthy wait on the phone but there was also a way to text...that was much faster. Problem resolved quickly, I just needed to tug the door towards me and the lock worked great then! Again! Excellent stay! Thank you!

Our Helen stay

Thus was a great place to stay, easy to book. Easy to check in and out. Easy to find and within walking distance of all the shops. We will return and stay longer next time. And we loved hearing the church bells. The weather was fantastic! I loved seeing all the dogs people brought also.

Church bells???!!!! But GREAT, clean place!

We had a great time, and the place was very clean!! We had an issue with the door lock that was inconvenient and frustrating to say the least. However, we received timely response in handling our issues. We will not stay there again, but ONLY because of the church bell that starts ringing VERY loudly at 6 AM and continues all morning......

Entry concerns

We arrived after driving 4 hours to a dark empty rear parking lot where we were instructed to park. Coded entry simply did not work. Vacasa was great at trying to assist. Noting that entry concerns were noted and directed to management several times previously. Contacted maintaince to come out and resolve. However, maintenance guy arrived and was quick to tell me 3 times that I had interrupted him from his gathering on Christmas. We fortunately found accommodations elsewhere after not feeling comfortable with any of the situation. It has been 2 weeks I have yet to talk to property management after 3 phone calls, no refund nor resolution. Every person I've spoken to at Vacasa has been extremely courteous, understanding and professional. The ball is definitely dropped on property management's side. Property is in perfect location. It just needs security features and personel adjusted.

Great Trip

Overall it was a great place to stay. It was very close and easy to walk to places. Our only complaint is the bell/clock on the church beside the house. It’s loud!
