The cabin needs some upgrades such as pest control service. There were tiny flies in some bathrooms. Showers in every room need upgrades. The handle on the shower downstairs is very loose. Food disposal grinder wasn’t working. Coffee mugs needs to be replaced because of the conditions. Bunk beds have very squicky noise. Hot Water tanks have a very low capacity as the water gets very cold after few showers. Bathroom door upstairs lock didn’t work.

Perfect getaway

This amazing cabin is located very close to most of the activities. The hosts were awesome at communicating. The previous guests broke one of the coffee makers and they had one delivered the same day of our arrival. It was a great experience!

Not what I expected

I rented this house for a trip to Helen, Georgia with some guests, and while the location was excellent and the house itself is spacious, unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing.The first thing we noticed upon arrival was that the house didn’t look like the pictures advertised. It was clear that the property needs some TLC—there were visible signs of wear and lack of maintenance.Even more concerning was the cleanliness of the house. It had an unpleasant smell throughout, and several of the bed sheets and covers were dirty. The game room, which we were really looking forward to using, had puzzles and games that were dusty and grimy. The house also had a noticeable bug problem, which made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy our time there.It was honestly upsetting to welcome guests into a home that was not as described. I felt embarrassed and sad during the first few days of our trip because I had hoped for a much better experience.This property has potential due to its size and location, but it really needs a deep cleaning, some updates, and better upkeep to meet expectations and provide a comfortable stay for future renters.

Confirmation Retreat

For our group this house was great, the location was so cool for our Mountain Experiences with God Retreat. Having two kitchens was helpful for a couple of the meals but the house is beyond well stocked with pots and pans, plates and dishes for our group of 13. The table was massive allowing all of us to eat a meal together - and that is no easy task! Our teens loved having the downstairs as a hangout area for free time. They loved uno - and just hanging out. You are super close to Helen which since we were planning to hike the area with our kids was perfect. The road up is narrow but we found going down and turning around at the end perfect for parking our two large SUVS. Would totally stay again, Host were amazing;y responsive to messages.

Quick family refresh

Our family of 6 needed a quick get away to relax and we always love visiting Helen. This house was perfect for what we needed and we had no idea how perfectly placed it was to downtown and all the things! The house was pretty clean and it we fully enjoyed the game room, hot tub, and fire pit during our stay. We would absolutely return to this property or even consider another property by this couple.

Sisters & Mom Getaway

I want to be fair here to both the owners and to future guests. Things that are good: Spacious, pretty area, well stocked kitchen, plenty of linens/towels. Good to know: Games are sized small children. The fooseball table is approx 15 in high & about 2 ft long (maybe), the air hockey table is also very small/short. Issues: Hot tub was dirty, space surrounding firepit was extremely dangerous (owner is working on it), couple of lights out, toaster broke, a couple of tv/remotes/Roku inoperable, grill pan burnt totally through w/burned marks on gas lines. I contacted the owner about the hot tub and they immediately sent the cleaner out. The cleaner also replaced a couple of light bulbs & was going to bring more the next day (didn't happen). Next morning I contacted owner about the toaster, grill and informed them about the dangerous situation of the firepit. Was told a new toaster would be delivered, didn't happen. Owner thanked me for letting them know about the grill and said they would begin a search for a new one for the next guest to enjoy. You're welcome. At this point, I was more than frustrated. As a consumer, I have pictures and reviews to make my decision on whether a property fits my needs. Both were excellent. The owner did provide everything their lease stated & shame on me for not reading it more closely. The line to be aware of is that they offer all these amenities & features but if they are broke or unavailable, to bad. No adjustment will be made

Great family get away

We wanted to spend time together as a family before my oldest daughter gets married. This was exactly what we needed. Great location right near the heart of Helen, plenty of room to be able to make memories together, and a great view to enjoy. Hosts were quick to respond to any messages we left them as well. I definitely recommend this rental.

We had an incredible stay at this cabin in Helen, Georgia. The accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way. The spacious layout easily accommodated our three families, providing ample room for everyone. The thoughtful design allowed us to enjoy various areas of the house without feeling crowded. The two kitchens were a game-changer, offering convenience and functionality. The kids' room was a hit with our little ones, adding an extra layer of joy to our stay. The cabin had everything we needed and more, making it a perfect home away from home. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning for another memorable getaway!

Perfect location for Christmas gathering.

This was the perfect setting for our family's Christmas gathering. The property is quiet and secluded yet right in Main Street Helen's backyard. The property was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and serve big meals. The beds were all comfortable. Lots of room to socialize and space for quiet time as well. The internet service was great for streaming. We had ages 2-62 and everyone enjoyed this home. The views from the spacious decks were gorgeous. The hot tub under the stars was a special night time treat. Rene and Katelyn were very communicative and answered questions quickly. We had no problems with this booking or property and we highly recommend.

Thanksgiving

Beautiful place close to everything. We spent Thanksgiving week and both kitchen’s were a plus. The kids loved the bunk room with full size bunks, arcade and video system. The dining room table was big enough to hold 12 people. Great time! Highly recommend for families and groups.

Perfection & beautiful views on two levels

Perfect location and home for our girls trip to Helen. Close to town and Valhalla resort but nice private space. Gorgeous views. We appreciated the luggage racks in bedrooms and well-stocked kitchen, with plenty of towels for bathrooms and hot tub use. Hosts were available and communicative without being overbearing. Overall a fabulous welcoming space. Highly recommend for a family or larger group.

Great Location and Experience

The description of the property is very accurate. The location is literally 2 minutes from town but it feels like you are nestled away in the mountains. The layout of the home is outstanding. With an upstairs and downstairs with two kitchens. We put the early risers downstairs and they could get up have their coffee and breakfast while we slept in. It was so private and roomy. The home is very clean and has everything you will need. The kitchen amenities were very impressive and we cook every meal in. There were more pots and pans than I have in my home 😁. The thoughtfulness of having all the starter kits (coffee, filters, s’more station, firewood, etc.) was awesome as well. No detail was left undone. From extra pillows, throws in every room, TV’s in every room, arcade game (this was cool), etc. I could go on and on. Communication with the owners was prompt and very attentive. We really did not have any issues but questions were addressed immediately. Check in and check out process was a beeeze. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing

We had a great time socializing, and the house was perfect for all of us to gather. We had 8 total, and everyone had a nice comfy bed. We went into town and it was so quaint. The owners were very helpful and informative. All in all, I would highly recommend.
