“Review for Seaview Cabins, Dunbeath We stayed at the charming Seaview Cabins, perched on the hillside overlooking the stunning Dunbeath coastline, and absolutely loved it. “Several heads down staff were anything but helpful. Older woman at checkin was unhelpful and heads down most of the time . Sad to see this historically friendly hotel now staffed by a number of very unimpressive people. Older women at dinner and younger professional woman at breakfast being the exception.”

“This place was really disappointing, I felt very uncomfortable being an American here. During breakfast they would not help us, we watched for over half an hour why they took care of everyone else . I had to finally raise my hand to get service to then be told I could only have one item. I would highly recommend somewhere else!!”

“The property was nice and clean. Parking was easy, right on the property. Located right on the beach and footpath, so the ocean view was nice. The owner supplied all of the usual conveniences in the kitchen and bath. I was concerned about the Alexa device that seemed to be always listening, so we unplugged it. The radiator beside the tele was emitting an electronic signal, but I could not find the actual source. We were unable to operate the heating, so it was a little chillier than we expected....

“Book it! Loved the stay. Room was cozy and perfect for our needs. Ocean was a very short walk. So beautiful. Simon was fast and easy to reach through the app. And extremely friendly. Eat at the Golspie Inn. Delish! And so friendly there. Golspie golf was great!Side note, DO NOT use the local ATM for exchange rate. Fee was extremely high. Ripoff! Just use your credit card. “The Links Hotel is beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. We stayed in the newer building and when we walked into our room my first response was how much I loved the colors. Our room had a view of Royal Dornoch Golf Course. The bed was comfortable, the sitting area very nice and situated to the view. The huge bathroom was spacious and luxurious. We arrived to two little glass bottles of an Auld Fashioned with shortbread—yummy! There is an espresso machine and tea service outside the rooms...

“We had an amazing stay! The area is gorgeous, saw more stars than I've seen in decades. Drive or walk down to the harbor to do the fairy Glen walk and explore the beautiful nature and history just down the road. A great spot from which to explore the coast! Unique, private and beautiful lodging to boot.”
