  • Great place for leaf peepers! Finished apartment with deck above Christmas Tree Storage building. Separate entrance with one set of stairs. Country setting with superb views, ponds, wooded areas and excellent wildlife viewing. Your stay includes a fire pit for your use and covered gazebo with picnic table. Decks extending over ponds are available for swimming, fishing and feeding fish. Licensed fishing preserve- no license required. Numerous ponds and wetlands to enjoy. Hiking and birding trails available on 150 private acres. Many additional miles on adjacent state forest including pristine Hemlock and Canadice Lakes. Guests have use of canoe, paddle boat and kayaks on large private ponds.
    All taxes are included in price.

Amazing time

Property and apartment were exactly as described and pictured. I am an avid cook and everything I needed was provided. The hills and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful!! I was looking for a peaceful place to spend a few days to unwind from my hectic work schedule and this was perfect!! A returning in Nov for another 3 nights as well.

Stay at Hemlock

Very nice place, very quiet and relatively close to the lakes and places. Quick and efficient communication with the owners. Recommend for a short stay!

This property was amazing. The apartment is nicely arranged and very efficient. It was central to everywhere we wanted to visit. The weather and the property lead us to actually cancel some plans in Sunday and return to spend more time at the property. We had a camp fire, fed the fish and just hung out on the dock. The day of departure we didn't want to leave the deck. There are squirrels, blue jays, turkeys ,deer and geese that frequent the property and ponds.

Pleasant stay

Once again, my stay at Hemlock Hills was very nice. This is is good, quiet place to relax while visiting friends & relatives in the area. I appreciate the timely response when communicating with the host.

Very convenient to all the western finger lakes. Caught several bass in the pond. Had to go outside for cell service. Maybe a few more TV stations? Sunrises were beautiful.

Host was prompt in replies. Really should have wi fi/internet in the stay (it’s 2025) tv is limited and unable to use firestick/roku. Says sleeps 4 beds are doubles so would be hard to fit 2 adults. No space for pantry/dry goods. 5 ponds. Enjoyed walking around them. Sunrises are beautiful. Would stay again.

Fabulous place!

I loved my stay here. Great location; not too far from the city, but nice and close to the countryside I came to visit. Lovely apartment that has a decently stocked kitchen and beautiful bathroom. Beds are comfy and so is the recliner sofa. Great communication from Cindy & Larry. If I need a place to stay in the area again, I’ll definitely be trying to book this place first

Nice quit place to stay. Awesome view. All 5 ponds were very peaceful. Hearing the frogs every day was awesome. Saw some deers and a possum. The owner kept to them selves unless we needed something. Would stay here again.

Great place if you are looking for Peace & Tranquility

This is an amazing property with amazing views near and far. We woke every morning with amazing views and the sunset stunned us every evening. The apartment is nice and provides an ability to relax and disconnect while being in a great middle location to explore the Fingerlakes or Niagra. Having the half bath with 4 people was very helpful.

Surrounded by the Natural Beauty of the Finger Lakes Countryside

Everything we needed was provided. The location was perfect for visiting parks and walking trails in the area. The property has abundant wildlife and the property manager and owner were most welcoming. A country retreat that met our expectations for enjoying the simple pleasures of the outdoors that is close enough to everything we wanted to do.

Hemlock delight

We loved our stay. The morning view over five small ponds was a wonderful way to start our day. The property is conveniently located near the places we spent our time - Geneseo, Avon and Letchworth State Park. Wi-Fi doesn't work inside the metal building, but can be found near the ponds. We plan on returning to this quiet restful haven when we next visit family and friends.

Finger Lakes

Great short stay in Hemlock for a four day weekend. Very nice apartment above the barn at a tree farm. Beautiful property. Would have loved to explore the property more but we were only there for a couple of days. Great scenery everywhere. Letchworth state park was amazing. Just a short drive away. Would definitely recommend.
