“The room was very nice - large and well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely continental breakfast in the morning and were able to sit in the dining room overlooking the bay. Staff was excellent. My only concern was with poor lighting in the parking lot and I did pass that along in the morning. We came in later in the evening and it was very difficult to see where we were walking. Probably not an issue in the busy season when the restaurant is open and people are out...

“Our trip started with a beautiful greeting at the front door and a quick and easy check-in whisking us up to our room with our belongings. The room was beautiful and well prepared as well as extremely clean. We were excited to use the pool and found that all the amenities within the location were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The staff are really what make this place, from the gal who was vacuuming the rugs to the managers. Everyone in between is so kind and courteous. Lots of options...

“The room was fine; however, the property is 'sketchy'. I can only hope that properties like Shenstone can improve and offer medium priced accomodation in an area that badly needs it. With non-refunable reservations, I gave up my $$, to stay in a place that was cleaner.”

“This is a budget property with outstanding location. The pictures are correct regarding the views and the distance to the private beach. That being said, the rooms are small, clean and parking is close to the room. I will say that if you are ok with a small clean room ..then you will be fine. Check in and out was smooth and if you pay by debit, there is no upcharge. Internet is good. The views are very good.”
