“The room was massive, the furniture could have been placed a little more imaginatively but that was a style thing. The bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water. The kitchenette was functional. Rm 43 needs a little bit of love re the mixer tap, and the carpet is threadbare in one spot. The hotel is large, the bar can be a little noisy at the beginning of the night, but then as the night progresses our room was very quiet and looked out into the courtyard. “Happy with the accomodation with regard to the room facilities, AC unit kept changing the temperature overnight leaving the room cold in the morning. Location is good within the city. Close to amenities and good food places. Real let down was the pool and spa. Absolutely freezing, if it was heated it was either not working or the 2 ice baths sitting next to them were being emptied into the pool. “Nice building. Rooms were spacious but had many defects. Wifi was unreliable, TV didn’t work and lamp kept flickering. When we asked about the TV at reception was told the TVs are not that smart or good. Pretty average response for the price you pay. Could not connect the TV to wifi and could only get channel 10!! Expect more than this. Good location.”
