A Beautiful property!!! We had a group of 6 gather here from all different locations, and we were thrilled with the place! The Lake Superior views are the highlight, for sure, but also the kitchen was very well equipped and huge enough for all of us to be working, prepping, & cleaning up. The main living area was so welcoming with windows on 2 sides, we gathered there every day and savored nature being all around us. We loved the huge dining table for meals as well as doing creative projects together. We found the layout of the house a bit confusing at first, but we all adjusted and thoroughly enjoyed the spacious layout!! We were there too early in the spring to be able to properly enjoy the great outdoor spaces - we'll be back in warmer weather!! It's a beautiful location, a beautiful property, and beautifully equipped!! We will for sure rent this place again! Thank you.

I retired on 1/30/2026 and wanted to spend 2 weeks in my fave place in the world - the Wisconsin North Woods - and I wanted to stay on Lake Superior. Everyone said WHY?! Because after working for 22 years in a challenging industry, I needed to destress. I wanted to be quiet. I wanted to watch the storms roll across Lake Superior. This beautiful home is about as far north as you can get in Wisconsin. It is a LOT of house for 2 people but for a group it would be great. Luke was so wonderful to deal with - both prior to the trip and the couple of questions we had when we got there. If you do decide to go in the Winter, just know it is remote. The roads are plowed but snow packed. Not much is open (but go to Pancho's in Cornucopia for the Walleye cheeks). I enjoyed cooking in the gorgeous kitchen (everything there you need!) and my husband and I played cards, binged some tv shows and just chilled. I've recommended this house to friends that go up in the summer to fish and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Lake Superior experience. Close to Duluth, Bayfield and Hayward so things to do if you want to. Enjoy the sunrises!!!

Wonderful views of lake. Cabin had everything you needed. Well stocked, lots of towels and plillows. Beds were very comfortable. We had a nice campfire the last night we were there. Made some wonderful memories. Will definately come back

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful spot on Lake Superior! The setting was peaceful and the views were amazing. Our friends from out of state had a blast. The amenities were great and plenty of space. Unfortunately, there was a small hiccup with the water during our stay, but Luke, the owner, handled it with professionalism, kindness, and generosity. He went above and beyond to make things right, which we truly appreciated. We’d happily return!

Perfect house for our family vacation

Everything about this house was great, plenty of room for my family of 9, location to local towns and the Apostle Islands, communication with property owner, and beautiful views of the lake! I really appreciate all of the extra towels and bedding because other VRBO’s are sometimes not so generous. We also loved the abundance of seating in the great room, we’ve been to several homes that only seat a few when the home sleeps 10-15, so that was fantastic. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Great property. Great venue. Great views.

Our family of 8 adults and 4 children under 6 were extremely comfortable at this property. The kitchen/dining/gathering room was more than ample. The dining area seated the entire family. The HUGE couch seated the crew as well. The kitchen is wonderful and multiple refrigerators really help. The yard is well kept and very inviting. We had a great week!

This is the perfect private getaway for a Family Vacation right on Lake Superior. Excellent view of the Lake. The house had every amenity you could need. Great space, plenty of room. Hosts are amazing!

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time with our whole family over Thanksgiving. The house was spacious with plenty of room to both spend time together and spread out to get a little space. The host was really responsive and helpful. The house did feel a little bit like a maze to start with but was okay once you got use to it.

10 stars all the way!

Amazing home, space, view, people to work with! The owner Luke was almost instantly responsive to any questions or info I needed. I've never stayed in a vrbo that was that well-stocked with EVERYTHING. And the view was breathtakingly magnificent. The cleaner Renee couldn't have been nicer or more helpful with all of our questions and needs. I give Luke, his staff and home a thousand stars!

Beautiful views, unique design of home.

Our group of 11 all enjoyed the Superior views, plenty of beds, and the unique design of the home. The kitchen lacked nothing and the native wildlife was on display. Excellent property, highly recommend.

Fabulous time!

Our family and friends from Germany had a wonderful time staying in this lovely home in a beautiful setting. The area is so peaceful and the house so well equipped! We were really impressed and grateful for all the extra nice touches the hosts included. We usually need an extensive supply run after checking in but that was not necessary this time. We loved the outdoor spaces. The communication with the hosts was prompt and thorough,

Sibling vacation

There was 14 brothers, sisters and in-laws, she ranging from 58-77. We had a blast, the place was great for us all to visit and sleep comfortably, altho we did get lost in the house a few times , it made it an unforgettable stay. Thank you Luke

Lake Superior family vacation 2024

Out of the way location- on Lake Superior. The layout of the place is unusual, but everyone had a place to sleep. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook our meals. If you're lucky enough to have clear skies you will see a awesome sunrise.

Family vacation

Fantastic views of the lake. I'm sure sunrises are amazing, but you have to get up pretty early to see it😂 this property is very well stocked with everything you may need for your stay. The baby gates on the stairs were very much appreciated as we had small kids with us. The layout of the house was a little funky, but once we got used to it, it was fine. There was plenty of room for everyone to have the space they needed. We had a great vacation! Managers were very quick to get back to us with any questions or concerns we had. It was quite buggy outside, but could have just been a hatch this time of year bring near the water. We had a great time and are glad we chose this property for our family vacation!
