Most wecoming place we've ever stayed

My sister and I came down to Missouri to go to the Lucas Oil Show Me 100 races for Memorial weekend. This cottage is only 5 miles from the speedway. We walked in and immediately felt at home. This home had everything and more. 3 bedrooms, a giant dining room table that seats 8 comfortably, a living room, family room, laundry room and bathroom. The kitchen was stocked with any and all small appliances and utensils, not to mention the "staples" for cooking. The owners thought of everything that you could possibly need in case you forgot something. Excellent communication between Mark and Christi in case anything would come up and you needed them. We will definitely be back but need to extend our stay just to enjoy this adorable cottage.

Well located gem for families and foodies

This incredibly cute and well-appointed cottage made our 3-day vacation an absolute dream. We arrived to an immaculate and very well-stocked private cottage with beautiful landscaping. We arrived to a basket filled with fresh fruit, vegetables, treats for our kids AND our dog! Did I mention that this was a very dog friendly place, as well? And, right next door is a dog groomer and huge play area for your dog. The cottage was located so close to Lake Pomme de Terre that we were able to visit five distinct and excellent swimming, fishing, and boating spots. Due to COVID, there were not a lot of restaurants in the area, but the kitchen is so well stocked with cooking equipment that we cooked for every single meal. One night we did get great pizza from the "Casey's" Convenience Store 50 yards from the cottage. We spent every evening hanging out around the great fire pit. We ate every meal outside on the picnic table despite the great dining room area. There were also two seperate TV rooms. They have excellent cable to include Disney+ and they have a selection of DVDs. Bottom Line: Would recommend to any family. Would stay again. Will stay again. This is one of those reviews I dread giving, because we don't want to give up our secrets of where to stay, but it was to good to not share with others. Hope you enjoy as much as we did. Thank you to the wonderful hosts who also provided three different types of firewood to add to our ambiance each evening. The ONLY downfall we found was that it was a bit close to the local road and there was a slight amount of traffic noise. My recommendation: turn up the music and enjoy yourself!

Cobblestone Cottage

More than we could have hoped for! The owners are wonderful, the hospitality is over the top, very personable, and the type of people you want to continue to be in touch with. The accommodations are clean, homey, and comfortable. I’ll definitely recommend this place and Evolve to anyone looking for a place to “get away”. We had a wonderful time!

A busy mothers dream

Busy moms and dads today have got to visit this cottage! Camping is always so much work, some mothers won’t even attempt it. The cottage is set up so beautifully & I don’t just mean it’s appearance! The next time you want a get a way, take a chance on this spot! Perfect flow for families! Our Great Dane enjoyed every inch of the place! I am a camping queen and packed half the house, all supplies needed, walk in to this beautiful cottage and they have dishes, spices, every appliance and tool needed for an army! So beautifully done and everything flows with ease. Price was more than fair. Owners are absolutely fantastic hosts! We cannot wait to return.

Very accommodating and family friendly

We stayed June 16th - 20th and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The property was very easy to locate, and very clean. They had a goody basket for the kids and a basket of stuff they provided for you to use with your dogs ( food/water dish, a big comforter they could lay on and a toy) Overall we felt so welcome and enjoyed our stay very much!

We had wonderful stay in Hermitage at the Cobblestone Cottage. Mark and Christi are terrific hosts and everything at the cottage was in perfect order. The sunsets from the porch were incredible. A spacious, peaceful getaway!

Wonderful Property

This property was a beautiful quaint cottage in an awesome area. The home was immaculate, the owners very friendly and accommodating. They left a gift basket on the table with goodies, a local newspaper and stuff to make smores in the fire-pit. I thought was a really nice touch. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom everything you could ask for. Could not be more convenient to Lake Pomme de Terre and Lucas Oil Speedway. A Casey's General Store and full service Grocery store are close by, as are several local restaurants. Highly recommend this property if your in the area, Only drawback is one bathroom for a 3 bedroom property but that was a small inconvenience at best.

I’m a property manager and owner. This place is wonderful. I have only great things to say.

So many small details added up to a great experience. From the hand written note and gift basket, to items like extra shampoo, conditioner etc. The house was very clean. So many things were provided for us. We could not find any local places to eat but the convenient store a half a mile down the road was super cute and I am so glad we got to go there and pick up a few groceries.. We met great local people. Back to the house itself ... it had so many small details that made it a big deal. There was stuff for our pet. There was wood for a fire. Extra blankets, pillows and towels. There were different charging cords in all the different rooms so that you can connect your phone no matter if it were an iPhone or android. They had Disney TV available as well as live TV. There were games to play. They were extra movies. The beds were comfortable. The decorations were cute. The yard was well taken care of. The instructions were super clear. As a property manager, I always look for little things that matter. This place does it so well. I can’t say enough about how pleased we were to be at the Cobblestone cottage. Well done!!

Perfect little get away!

This property was immaculate upon arrival. The owners have literally thought of everything that a guest may need to make their stay comfortable. This cottage was so relaxing and the front yard was fun with nightly fires and room to play cornhole. The property is so close to Pomme De Terre lake. It says 10 miles, but it did not take any time at all to get to a launch site. We loved it here and hope to use this place several times in the future!

Cobblestone cottage

Great property! Great hospitality! All the necessities of home away from home. We really appreciated the little things like the coffee cart, snacks, special treat...even the firewood, kindling and newspaper! Plus the distance to the lake was perfect, as well as proximity to the market and convenience store. Thank you so much!

Wonderful stay and great hosts!

A friend and I stayed at this property for a fishing tournament for the weekend. It has a prime location to the lake and is very conveniently located in town. The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked with more than you could ask for. Lots of parking was available. I would definitely stay at this property again. This place is a little gem and we were thankful we found this place!
