Power outage

1. Power outage for more than one hour. No responses to calls during the power outage. 2. Never booked it as non-refundable. 3. Please read the fine words once you have decided to book the hotel. For aircondition service, you need to pay extra 6 euros per day. 4. Need to bring your own shower gel, shampoo, ..etc.

Billig, enkelt, rent og hyggelig

Enkelt og hyggelig familiedrevet hotell. Du får det du betaler for, to stjerner er bare det. Men, det er hyggelige eiere, nye håndklær hver dag, et skift av sengetøy i uken, ligger sentralt, har gratis wifi og et lite basseng.

Nice staff, the rest was sub-par

I woke up one morning with several red spots on my legs, likely from bed bugs. The bed was rock hard and lumpy. The floor felt like it had never been wet cleaned, dusty and sandy somehow. The bathroom was tiny, the shower had no shower curtain meaning the entire bathroom got soaking wet when you showered. If you managed to shower with the horrible water pressure, that is. The breakfast they serve consists of sliced white bread, cheese and some type of sliced meat product, all from the local supermarket by the looks of it. A bowl of cereal and synthetic-tasting "orange juice" to go along with it. I never tried the coffee and tea, but I saw that there was some available. The one bright spot was the staff, who were very congenial and forthcoming, offering help and advice. It was cheap, so maybe I got what I paid for. I wish I'd paid more.

Helt greit og trivelig hotell

Vi var to kompiser som ville ha det litt gøy på Kreta, ikke bare slappe av i en søvnig fiskelandsby. For oss var det supert at hotellet lå nært uteliv, strandpromenaden, restauranter, stranden og supermarked. Helt greit rom, balkong, kjøleskap og betjening. :)

Un très bon staff

Un accueil chaleureux. L'hotel est bien situé et pas trop bruyant. Ménage fait régulièrement mais la clim ne fonctionne que si on est dans la chambre et elle souffle à la tête du lit.

Great hotel for youngsters.

A 2 star hotel which is right in the middle of Hersonissos, which is the 'Ayia Napa/Blackpool' of Crete. Very good for young people but not so good for an old fogey like me, however the staff were friendly and very helpful. Would have liked a more substantive breakfast. I would recommen the hotel to young people but not to senior citizens such as me.

SINCERAMENTE, LEGGENDO I GIUDIZI DEGLI ALTRI VIAGGIATORI MI ASPETTAVO UNA PESSIMA VACANZA, INVECE HO DOVUTO RICREDERMI SULL'HOTEL MIRAMARE A CRETA!!! CAMERE GRADEVOLI CON TUTTO IL NECESSARIO, ARIA CONDIZIONATA COMPRESA (A 6€ AL GIORNO), OTTIMA LA PULIZIA, CAMBIO DELLE LENZUOLA E BIANCHERIA REGOLARE; SOTTOLINEO L'OTTIMO RAPPORTO QUALITA' PREZZO!!! SECONDO ME INDICATO PER GIOVANI COPPIE O RAGAZZI IN VACANZA!!! SE DEVO TROVARE UN "DIFETTO"??? LA COLAZIONE NON E' ABBONDANTISSIMA ED E' SOLO SINO ALLE 9.30 E PER CHI FA VITA NOTTURNA FORSE E' UN PO' PRESTO!!!OTTIMA VACANZA E OTTIMO HOTEL!!! CONSIGLIATO!!!

Hôtel agréable avec quelques points à améliorer

Le petit déjeuner est basique et peu varié et l'eau chaude vient à manquer le matin et le soir. Cependant il s'agit d'un hotel familial où l'accueil est chaleureux ce qui compense un peu les défauts. Présence d'un parking gratuit, d'une piscine agréable et d'un bar. Bon rapport qualité prix.

We have had a good holiday at the Hotel Miramare in Chersonissos.

On holiday we wants to experience culture, make excursions, sunbath on the beach, eating out and meet people. For us is a hotel to sleep, breakfast, sit on the balcony (end of afternoon), refresh for out eating and for a drink when it suits me. For this kind of summer vacations, we always take a small 2 or 3 star hotel. Often with Expedia because the description of the hotels, have not negatively surprised me when I arrived at the place. We are regular hotel guests who want a good night's sleep. Air conditioning, toilet, shower that work well and do not want to spend much on accommodations. Hotel Miramare fits perfectly into this experience. It is a typical Greek hotel from the early days of tourism in Greece. The atmosphere and the building is typically Greek. The Hotel is managed by the son and daughter of the founder. We have good and warm memories of them. Not only for their care when I had stood in a sea urchin, but also in the conversations we have had. We have good memories of their Greek hospitality and those from other Greeks we met during this vacation. I recommend this hotel if you have experience with 2 stars Hotels and want a typically Greek accommodation with Greek hospitality. Kind Regards Martin and Marian

Buono, non pretendere quello che non paghi!!! :))

Personale amichevole. La stanza era un pò spartana ma pulita, vicino alla via principale, pagato poco per due persone. Buon Soggiorno. Rapporto Qualità\Prezzo: Ottimo.

great value for money

Lovely family run hotel,all staff very friendly and helpful,great location only few minutes walk from the beach,good restaurants and lively pubs n clubs,but far enough away to get a peaceful nights sleep.Breakfast basic but adequate. swimming pool quite small but well maintained n clean nice quiet garden area with sunbeds n parasol.We had a brilliant 2 week stay really good value for money.

Hotell Miramare i Hersonissos

Helt greit hotell med hyggelig betjening. Ryddingen av rommene kunne vært bedre, og de kunne byttet håndklær oftere. Veldig lytt fra gangene, men lite folk som faktisk går rundt og bråker. Liten balkong, men det gjorde oss ingenting. Når vi skulle dra fra hotellet fikk vi gode råd fra betjeningen angående taxipriser og hva man skal godta eller ikke. Det satte vi stor pris på. Hotellet bestilte taxi til oss og sjekket at vi kom oss avgårde med en sjåfør som var ordentlig. Det var veldig greit :)
