GA on our mind

The house was perfect for our families. In laws, children and grandchild spent some quality time together. We did the local adventures during the day and hung out at the house in the evenings. Bon fire and hot tub were an excellent way to spend quality time together. There was a great view of the lake from the wrap around porch. Each floor offered bedrooms and bathrooms and there were lounging options as well. Great time was spent enjoying our stay at Dragonfly.

Large Comfortable House

Private, beautiful home with a fantastic view - and I believe the best sunset! Open communication with owners. Close to everything in Hiawassee. Very comfortable furniture/beds with endless hot water! A lot of space (in door and out) for everyone to be together or a quite place to be alone too. Lots of extras supplied (appreciated the make up wipes and blow dryers). Our 3 families enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Home

Honestly, we wish that we had more time to spend at the house. It is beautiful, comfortable, tastefully decorated and with a beautiful view. I don't think that I have ever experienced a better stocked kitchen in a short term rental!! There is lots of room to spread out with rooms spread across three floors.

Great vacation!

Had a great time at this home! Large enough for all to have their own space. Owner has carefully thought about what a family might need or want while there and it shows. It is a beautiful home and great views. We would definitely book this property again and recommended to family and friends going to the area.

Fantastic

This is a fabulous property with very responsive hosts. We had 7 adults and 2 babies and honestly could not have asked for a better home. Every little detail is thought of and all of us (ages 23-80) found our peace here. Thank you.

Excellent property in a beautiful area

This was our first family Christmas trip with our adult children. The area was amazing and the views were unbeatable. The hot tub and pool table got a lot of use. I wish there had been a Christmas tree when we arrived, but I didn’t ask for it and it definitely wasn’t a hindrance to our stay. We’d like to come back to this area a different time of year to enjoy the lake as well, and if we do, we’ll stay at Dragonfly!

Fabulous Getaway

My family of 7 had plenty of room to spread out with extra sleeping space unused. The property owners were very kind and helpful. They thought of pretty much everything to make our stay enjoyable.

Beautiful view

Had a wonderful time. Went up to see Helen. This was close enough to go for the day and a beautiful drive through the mountains to get to Helen, yet it was far enough away to relax and enjoy the mountains. Really enjoyed the pool table and jacuzzi.

Great home

Very nice home. Everything you need is there. It appears everything in the house is new. The views are great as well. The location is close to town as well as other sites. I would recommend this to anyone. It is a great value.

The perfect home away

This place is amazing!!!!! The view from the porch was truly breathtaking. I loved how everything felt like home from the moment that you walk though the doors!!! The property manager gave wonderful communication and a lovely welcome breakfast/snack basket!!! The area that this house is in is very quiet and peaceful! I can not believe a place like this offers so many things such as a Hot tub, family fire pit, and pool table! there are many beds to accommodate a large family there were 6 of us and a baby and the sleeping arrangements fit us perfectly!!! I can't thank them enough for the perfect stay to a family fun weekend!!!!

Family reunion

This was one of three houses that I rented for our family reunion. Marlena was very responsive to our needs and I would rent from her again. The house was very clean. The hot tub was too. And the bathrooms were also in perfect order. It was very close to a larger house that the rest of our party was staying at. Thanks Marlena for making sure the house was so inviting.

Beautiful view

The view from the balcony was gorgeous. House was decent, would like to have had the balcony a little cleaner from spider webs and spiders. I would suggest you bringing you own pots and pans if you plan on cooking. The ones they had were subpar. The WiFi connection was in and out, mostly out. Worked great in the morning and then all of a sudden it was out. You can see the lake from the balcony but it’s NOT on the lake as it suggested on profile. I would also suggest you bring towels. You have about three in each bathroom. The drive up to the house is a little intimidating and steep but manageable.

Short family retreat

We had an enjoyable time away from home. Had four teenage girls, and there was plenty of space for them to get away from us adults. The accommodations were more than satisfactory and about what you would expect for the price point. Everything we needed. Views were spectacular.

Not clean at all

My husband and I and two other couples stayed this past weekend. The house has the potential to be a really great place but it is not taken care of at all. There is mold in all the showers, all the doors walls and baseboards are gross. Two of the main things that attracted us to this place was the pool table and hot tub, but unfortunately the hot tub was very dirty, it was green and cloudy and the filter smelled like a fish tank. The pool table is lopsided and broken. The basement smelled like mildew which made it very hard for the couple that had to stay down there to sleep. The grill outside is broken and dirty. I never leave reviews but this place was awful, a very big disappointment and we will never return.

Cute house with beautiful views but that needs some TLC

House is well furnished but in need of some TLC and a deep cleaning. Broken back door knob, holes in the walls going into the basement, damage to the hot tub, fridge light or working, back porch light not working, crumbs/trash under the living room furniture as behind the master bedroom nightstands, and do t get me started on what was seen under the couch cushions.

Perfect location in the mountains. Hiked 3 days. Tallulah gorge, brasstown bald and beautiful waterfalls just 15 minutes away. (High shoals falls) The Brasstown bald can be seen from the cabin. The house is fully stocked and lovely. The only downfall was the hot tub could have been cleaner. Great vacation with the family.
