I enjoyed my stay! The toilet and I finally got along after the tip on how to flush it. Everything was stocked very well, and I enjoyed that you had so many coffee pod flavors to pick from. (I used all the Folgers) I was able to bake my dads Birthday cakes there, and they turned out great! Oven works well. I think the front of the fridge needs to be raised a bit to level out the fridge, my creamer was sliding out. Thank you for everything. Hopefully we will get a chance to stay at your B & B again in the future. Also, I LOVED the mattress in the room I stayed in, do you recall the brand of the mattress? I believe it is a memory foam? No shoulder and back pain when I woke up!! WHOOO HOOOO Thnaks again!! Have a great night. Shannon Scherf

Lovely, cozy apartment with nice linens. Host was very responsive to a minor issue which was resolved immediately. Close to downtown Hibbing restaurants. We did not use TV or cook so can't comment on that but there was a nicely stocked kitchen. Love that coffee was there! It was 30 minutes from the Sax-Zim Bog which is why we were there to go birding.

We had a great stay! The apartment was very comfortable, clean, plenty of room, larger than the photos. We appreciated on site parking. Host very responsive, highly recommended this property, we will stay again for our trip next year if it’s available.

Kitchen waswonderful. Coffee pods, tea an water. Host was available in minutes. No pet with but could have been very pet friendly. Everything was spotless to the point of having my 7 month old greatgrandson on the floor. Just loved the place!!

What a lovely little apartment! Very unassuming outside, but tons of mid century modern charm inside! We loved the blue glass collection and the original bathroom fixtures. If you arrive after dark, walk carefully in the parking lot, it's a bit uneven.

Excellent Rental!

This property is one of my favorite VRBOs I have ever rented. I loved the details of this classic apartment and decor. The furniture was very comfortable. This place is a good location to check out the sights in Chisholm, Hibbing and Virginia. It is located on a busy street but street noise was not a problem.

Remodeled Art Deco Flat - nice

My wife and I spent 5 nights here in Hibbing in February 2025. Temperatures got down to -19F outside…the back of the house (two bedroom) stayed cozy; front rooms (kitchen and adjacent dining area plus living room) were much cooler but doable with heavy fleece/sweater. Overall we loved the space this first floor apartment afforded us. Kitchen has enough to cook with (could use a stronger microwave) and dining room expansive! In the bathroom hot water hot and sufficient at least for two consecutive showers of good duration. We’d stay here again. Parking lot plowed and good size; can park in front of two floor house as well. What we wish were better: Internet can be slow with some drops especially late afternoon and early evening; TV is a Roku type meaning if you are not part of that plan there are limited stations/content. Finally we brought our own coffee/filters but there was no easy way to boil water except by using an uncovered pot over gas flames(stovetop). None of these are dealbreakers…especially since the apartment is newly restored and many elements of its past as an Art Deco home have been kept: kitchen cabinet hardware, ceiling lighting design…and the translucent glass windows of the dining area.We wish the owner only the best luck with the new (ad)venture. Thank You and if we pass this way again to look for Great Grey Owls and Boreal Owls at Sax Zim bog, we will surely stay here again
