Downtown Hickory Lounge

  • We live in downtown hickory. You will have your own private space located in the back of our home. It is a studio with a kitchenette. No stove/oven and only a beverage fridge. Adjoining your studio is an un air conditioned game room with pool table/ping pong and workout equipment. We have an outdoor shared space with a grill and fireplace.
    We also have a super cute golden doodle named Louis, who might be inside the fenced area. Please keep all fence gates locked.

Such an oasis!

Second stay here, and it's always perfect! Close proximity to the spa at rock barn and a few great resteraunts. Perfect for a mom/friend/ girls get away!

Awesome Spot with great location

Had an Amazing stay. House was extremely clean and had all the little details and things needed to make the stay amazing! Bed is beyond comfortable and pillows were perfect. Will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay close to everything in Hickory. Wife and adult son stayed here for a wedding downtown. Host is very receptive and has thought of everything anyone would need to be comfortable. 10 out of 10!

Great spot in downtown Hickory

Everything about the actual room was exactly as described and the location was great. Easy walk to downtown and Kim was a great host. Would definitely stay again.

Real oasis

Lovely space, cool decor and very relaxing. The pool is stunning! I wish I had known about this place when my brother was in Frye Medical recently; so much nicer than staying in the chain hotels off the highway.

This property was beautifully decorated and wonderfully appointed. The owners have gone above to make their guests very comfortable. We would definitely book this property again.

Perfection

Beautiful property in the heart of downtown Secluded and quiet, the bed was amazing. Extremely clean and they have a huge under counter ice maker if you’re a cold drink fanatic like me. I would love to stay here again if we return.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The lounge is absolutely gorgeous thoughtfully designed with stylish decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere that made it a perfect place to unwind. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, always friendly, attentive, and accommodating. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable visit .

It was a Work stay vs. Vacation

It is an excellent stay! Would for sure come back and stay longer to see the sites after I get my work done. It would of been nice to use more if the amenities that were available.

Beautiful Property!

We loved this little place! The landscaping is beautiful and the room was very well stocked and perfectly decorated. We were with a large group that stayed in other rentals and hotels nearby, and our place was by far the best one in the area for about the same cost. The pool table was an added bonus for my kids!

We fell in love with this property. Great decor, loved the interior & exterior. So comfortable & just a fun place to spend a few days in Hickory. We will be back very soon.

The space was just what we needed. We walked multiple times to Downtown and went on a run right from the door. Across the street from the Art and science center of some kind as well. It was clean, and had everything we needed. Purified Brita water pitcher and iron and ironing board! It was well laid out and an overall great experience!

Amazing

This place is quaint and beautiful. Check-in was so simple and communication was amazing. The location is convenient and listening to the pool spill over was so relaxing. This cute space also has the most amazingly comfortable bed! Highly recommend and will use again for guests.

Hickory Safe and Restful

From the ease of locale to shops and dining to the friendliness of the owners it is a must stay. Did not have any “vacation anxiety” as the neighborhood is historic and peaceful. The garden and birds made you feel like you were at a cottage far from a city. Would go again for sure.

Perfect Cozy Spot

The lounge exceeded our expectations! Kim is an amazing host, very accommodating and wonderful communication. The rental was adorable with special touches everywhere. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, even had a ice machine! We were able to take a nice stroll to town from the location. Im looking forward to staying again!
