“I've stayed in alot of hotels and motels over the years working construction.
This hotel was horrible, extremely dirty, just gross place. Definitely not worth the 100.00 dollars just because it's by a lake.
Just avoid this place. Very dirty.”

That’s poor planning and not caring. Also, shower head was pointed towards the back wall and could not be adjusted away. You had to lean into the wall to get the water. “We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home on a mountain. It was a little far from downtown Roanoke, about 20 minutes. Peter and his wife were filling in for the owners. They were pleasant and helpful. Peter’s breakfast was excellent. The bedroom was large and comfortable with a nice seating area. Overall a wonderful choice.”

“This place was awful! I reserved a room through hotels.com and when I went to check in, the rude guy at the front desk said they do not use online reservations and refused to let me check in. I showed him the confirmation email and he still said they do not use online reservations. I had to find another hotel to stay at and I had already been charged for this one. Luckily the hotel next door (Rocky Mount Inn) was very nice and the front desk clerk was super helpful.”
