    Old Town Cottage, rodeada por el Bosque Nacional Black Hills, es una cabaña situada muy por encima del histórico depósito de trenes de 1880, a poca distancia del centro de Hill City, el sendero Mickelson, Spring Creek y Major Lake para la pesca de truchas. Rodeados de altos pinos, los huéspedes experimentan "la sensación del bosque con la comodidad del pueblo".

    Old Town Cottage tiene dos habitaciones, cada una con una cama queen. Las habitaciones tienen pisos de madera maciza. OMG what a great place to stay. My husband and I stayed here in 2013, Me my daughter and granddaughter came this time. So close to all the areas to visit and then come home to rest up for the next day. Walking distance to town for shopping and eating. Thank you for a clean home with all the amenities. Hope to be back again someday Cindy

For the cost point, this is a huge value as the location is hard to beat. It's well equipped with the basic needs. Very comfortable for a couple and a few kids. The garage is a huge bonus as we rented a slingshot like we always do and being able to park it in the garage was a hug bonus as it rained in the evenings. This is a great cottage, and we will definitely be returning and renting this location in the future

The house was nice and nestled away in a little corner. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the property as well as all the amenities offered. The price was fair for the house. The host was super kind and responded within a timely manner.

One of the best places I've stayed. Very comfortable. Kitchen had high quality items and everything we needed. Within walking distance to micalsen trail and shops and restaurants. Centrally located to visit all the different sites in the area.

The location of this property was amazing! We spent 4 days exploring the whole area and this was such a peaceful place to stay for our first family vacation at the end of the day. My 2 year old loved watching the train feom the driveway come into town in the evening. The garage was a HUGE bonus for us as we took our bronco and had the top off so we were able to store it there and keep the car in there overnight so we didn't get rained on. Marcia was very responsive, even when she was out of town when we arrived. Kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom, was fully stocked which we appreciated as we made all of our meals there and on the grill. 10/10 would recommend this cabin to anyone staying in the area!

This property was perfect for our vacation. It is right in the town of Hill City, but you wouldn't know it. It's surrounded by pine trees and bushes, making it extremely private and quiet, You feel like you're right in the middle of the Black Hills, with the convenience of the grocery store a block away. The cottage was comfortable to stay in, with everything you would need included. The large garage was a welcome addition. It was so romantic to hear the whistle of the steam locomotive of the 1880 train occasionally going out and coming back!The hostess, Marcia, is so friendly and accommodating. She was so easy to work with. We will definitely be returning to this location whenever we are in the Black Hills. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for all of the comforts of home and want to be close to amenities but not feel like it this is the place to be. Old Town Cottage was an awesome place to stay. It was quiet and secluded even though it was just outside of Hill City. We even had a wildlife visitor. It was clean and very comfortable. Our contact person was very helpful in making sure all of our comforts were met. The cottage was within an hour or less of the majority of the attractions in southwestern South Dakota. This was our first time visiting this state. It is a beautiful area and the people are friendly. We did not want to return home. We would come here again.
