We didn't use the pool as the environment didn't seem very inviting. Near driveway and asphalt like pool deck. Unit is a bit dated, but clean and well stocked. Convenient location. Quiet complex with a great view of the park.

We wanted something where we could walk to town. It was convenient and we got the exercise we wanted. The patio looks out on the lagoon and beautiful park.The unit was clean. We used the laundry facilities. It was a great week for us.

We enjoyed staying in this unit. It was well equipped and had nice furniture. The bathroom could use some updating, but nothing that is a deal-breaker. Our brief encounter with Terry was positive; he was helpful and kind.We will be back to this condo complex.

This was our second time here, the first being one week in April 2025. Once again we appreciated the serene views & two lanais overlooking Wailoa State Park, the fully stocked kitchen, the portable cooler & pool towels (for picnics) & the host's notebook of clear, thorough instructions re: parking space, evening security protocols & keys, laundry room down the hall, recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing, etc. A gem of a location for walking into town, park enjoyment & sightseeing " headquarters". It was excellent for our intentional combo: 50 % Relaxation, reading, napping, walking 50 % excursions!

We loved our stay at this wonderful condo! The view from the morning side of the building was awesome! We very much appreciated the air conditioning and the great kitchen which had everything you would ever need. This beautiful home made our visit to Hilo an enjoyable and very memorable part of our first visit to Hawai'i.

Hilo Lagoon is centrally located, the condo has a nice view over the park and lagoon with morning sun. Private parking (included) is close, the building has good security, our neighbours and hallway were very silent. Everything was tidy and really clean, just a bit outdated, Hilo style ;-)The kitchen is functional, pots and dishes were in good condition, only the coffee mugs need replacement. The dishwasher is antique, with perfectly clean interior, we were afraid to touch it.The comfortable bed and friendly environment made a perfect stay in the modern heart of Hilo. We would definitely come back to this condo!

Serene Views, Ideal Location for Walking & Next to Wonderful Wailoa State Park

The views through the sliding glass windows in both the living room & bedroom are eye popping serenity and beauty looking at the verdant Wailoa Park and the big sky. Easy walk into town, short strolls and picnics in the park and manageable walks to the Bay and onto Banyan Drive for the park, restaurants, Banyan Gallery, etc. RECOMMEND: Changing out the coffee mugs which all have cracks and replacing the vegetable peeler which is so flimsy that I was afraid I'd cut myself. So, I borrowed our son's peeler. Otherwise, thank you for a well stocked, comfortable condo unit for our vacation!

Merrie Monarch Adventure

This location was perfect for our visit to the Merrie Monarch Festival. Quick ride to the Festival grounds, walked to see the Royal Parade, great neighborhood for food and groceries. Could walk or drive to Downtown Hilo. Highly recommend this condo and its pleasant owners.

ok but dated

The unit was as the pictures show but some things need to be updated. The futon/sofa is well used and is no longer comfortable. The ac unit in the living room does not get cooler than 74/75 degrees. Luckily the bedroom unit works well and the bed was comfortable. All the appliances worked but truely the diswasher has to be from the 80's or 90's, just kind of took us by surprise..The inside hallways are very stark and nothing seems appealing. The unit worked for us as we were not there much. Updated seating is very necessary. Places to rent in Hilo are not plentiful so this was a fine option for us.

Give a try @ convenient & good place to stay

Although entire trip covered byraining, we walked to Akaka Fall. It was magnificent place to visit. It is suggested by the owner. The entire trip was magnificent, it was quiet, it has an AC, the bath room was clean.

Our Favorite Place to Stay in Hilo

This was the fifth time that we have stayed in a condo at this location. We love the clean, quiet atmosphere. We like the fact that it's air-conditioned, which we still needed in late September. The location is perfect, as we like to walk from the condo to Coconut Island every morning.
