  • Escape after a long day of exploring our beautiful island to your own private bedroom with a private entrance. You will enjoy a jungle setting with the peaceful sounds of coqui frogs. Step outside to a Bali style open air bathroom that is just a few steps away from your bedroom. Our home is located just above this cozy private bedroom and bathroom, so you may hear a little noise from above. There is no air conditioning within room, but since the bedroom is located on the lowest level of our villa, this room stays naturally cool. There is a ceiling fan. There is one covered parking spot right next to your room.

An excellent location and a wonderful stay. The host, Hannah, is warm, generous, and beautiful. I would love to come back here for a vacation again; it is perfect for a honeymoon.

Loved the frogs singing us to sleep. Even if we were in the city of Hilo it felt like we were in the rainforest!

We really enjoyed this property. It’s an excellent choice if you don’t need a kitchen for food prep. The room was nicely finished and furnished, it had everything we needed. It overlooks a large jungle-type landscape with a lot of island vegetation. Just beautiful. Hannah and Tanner were very responsive to any questions we had. A really nice experience. Mahalo!

Really enjoyed our stay! Close to downtown. Easy to go out for dinner! Picked up fruit at the farmers market for breakfast each day!

We enjoyed our stay here! Check in was very easy and we appreciated the recommendations from the hosts. The outdoor bathroom was a unique change. We would stay here again!

Incredible Stay!

Hannah and Tanner were super quick to respond with information that was needed, and super helpful. The location was so fun being in the jungle, and it was minutes away from downtown Hilo. We loved our stay here!

Pretty much as advertised. And by virtue of being in an upscale neighborhood bounded by streams, maybe the only place I have ever been in Hilo without roosters.

Hilo

Great stay in Hilo. Hosts were so attentive and helpful and very flexible with my last minute trip extended stay. The room was clean, quiet, private, close to town and the University. Loved the outdoor shower for the full island experience will stay here again.

The room is small and has only a microwave to cook anything, but the overall setup of the suite was very comfortable and the setting was beautiful

This space was a beautiful, clean, comfortable, convenient, and serene home away from home for our adventures on the Big Island. Our host was friendly, helpful, and kind. We hope to come back for many more visits and stay at this property again!!

very clean place, friendly hosts. its quite close to everything near downtown Hilo so it isnt much of a drive to anything. you are able to walk to downtown as well but its a bit of a walk

Loved the place and the scenery. The host was top notch helping with local recommendations. He even bought us some local fruit as a gift. We would definitely return

Lovely place to stay. Highly recommend it. Very private, loved the bathroom, comfortable bed. Location super convenient, just 5 minutes drive to downtown but you feel like you are staying in a tropical forest. Hannah is a great host, easy to connect with. Bring some good ear plugs because everywhere you stay in Hawai’i that has forest and woodland nearby will have little tree frogs. You never see them but you hear them. Also, just ask Hannah if you need cutlery, dishes etc. All available if you let her know. Would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Hilo.

Great Stay

Perfect, comfy room in a beautiful property and super sweet helpful host. Would absolutely recommend. It's no joke when they say jungle room! Stunning back yard jungle!

This place has a very "Zen" vibe. The setting is terrific. If we are ever back in Hilo, this is where we will stay. I would give more stars if I could.
