Great condo!

The condo was so cute and cozy. We had almost everything we needed (only wish they would stock salt and pepper, I think it was just out). Plenty of hooks for towels, sleeping arrangements were great. All beds were comfortable. It was easy parking and in and out of the gate -- all the employees were so friendly. The walk to the beach on the boardwalk is nice, the wagon provided was great, though glad we brought our own beach chairs because there was only 1 at the condo. Guests of the resort can use the bathrooms at Coco's while down at the beach. Although we didn't end up renting bikes there is a company on site and covered storage for them. The things I'll mention that I wish were a little better are for the resort itself. The indoor hot tub was scalding at times, kept way too hot in mine and my families opinion. You could only sit in it for barely 5 minutes at a time if at all. The outdoor pools were kept a little cold for the time of year we stayed (late March early April). I thought one of them was supposed to be heated but you could barely tell. The groundskeepers at HHR start a tad early. We were woken up to bush trimming and mowing at 7 am 2 different mornings.All in all we had a great time and were glad to call this place home for a week.

Checked in and property not clean. One bed hadn’t been changed, dried food on the table. Seemed as though nothing was wiped off so spend the first of vacation cleaning. Someone did come with clean sheets and changed the bed. Not enough toilet paper and paper towels for 8 days. Called to get more but our call wasn’t returned so we went and bought some. Nice room otherwise. Loved how stocked the kitchen was. Kids had a blast around the resort.

Great place! Kids loved it!

The property was clean, comfortable, and as listed. It served as the perfect home base for us to explore HHI. When we got back from our adventures the kids really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and tennis courts. They also loved having their own space in such a fun ‘shark room’.We had forgotten beach towels but that was totally my fault. There is a TJ Maxx and Dollar Tree with 5-10 minutes that kept us stocked with essentials we forgot.The beach was lovely and we enjoyed the boardwalk trek to get there.Definitely would stay again

Excellent experience

This was a beautiful relaxing place to stay. We came down from maryland to see my son graduate as a marine on parris island. It was like home away from home with all the amenities you could ask for. Comfortable beds, enough space to hang out, really nice hot tub and pools, beautiful walk to the beach. I would definitely go back just for a relaxing vacation.

Great Stay

We loved how the condo is decorated and so well thought out. There are hooks everywhere to hang up wet suits, towels, etc.. it was very convenient!! My kids enjoyed having their own TV to watch and also enjoyed the board games, tennis equipment and DVDs. The beach wagon was very handy!

Perfect for a quick get-away!

We came for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday and this spot was perfect. Every thing was exactly as it was listed and the owner was very easy to communicate with! Definitely a place we will look at again.

First Time in HHI

The condo was very nice. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of starter items for us to use such as TP, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. The furnishings were very nice as well. Be prepared to walk a good distance to the actual beach. Not sure how I missed that detail when booking. However it was very nice to have Coco’s at the Beach at the end of the boardwalk before the beach to grab drinks & snacks. Also, having the beach wagon available to use was a lifesaver! FYI: Bring your own beach towels!!

Good location, some issues

Overall the condo was small but nice. A few issues to be aware of: the walk from the condo to the beach is quite a stretch, especially with kids!! You have to walk past 3 other condo building parking lots and then a long board walk. There is a “shuttle” towards the board walk but it’s a 3 row golf cart with no room for chairs, beach toys or anything. So we were not able to use it. The pool was close by but VERY chlorinated where your lungs hurt going into the indoor pool area. Be aware the check in at the gate to the condo complex, you will have to request more than one parking pass if you have more than one vehicle. There were not two ready for us, we had to wait for the owner to call the gate house. PARKING SPOTS are NOT guaranteed, it’s first come first serve for the parking spots even though they are supposed to be designated for your unit. If someone else is in those spots you have to park far away from your condo unit. Which is difficult when you are unloading and loading your vehicle. There are only three luggage carts for the entire HUGE complex area. You will most likely not have one on check out and will have to walk from your second floor condo, several times, to load your vehicles up. Not an easy walk. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. But bring extra toilet paper, you only get ONE roll per bathroom. There are NO BEACH/POOL TOWELS. You will have to bring your own. They have a beach cart for your things and one beach chair.

Perfect for a beach vacation

This condo was exactly as listed and we were so pleased with it for our beach vacation. “Check in” was super easy - all instructions are sent a head of time. It was very clean and well stocked. One beach chair, so bring extras if you like beach chairs. We really appreciated the beach buggy. Hilton Head Resort has three pools and tennis courts which were fun to use. The walk to the beach is about 10+ minutes and there is a shuttle that runs periodically. This condo met our needs perfectly and we will definitely book here again.

First Trip to Hilton Head!

This rental was perfect for our family of 4 on our first trip to Hilton Head! There was plenty of room for everyone and all of the accommodations were comfrotable. We loved the options of indoor and outdoor pools depending on the weather and enjoyed our walks to the beach everyday. Coco's was an added bonus! The proximity to shops and restaurants was great as well, and we spent a lot of time at Shelter Cove. We would definitely recommend this spot to other families!

Property/condo was just as described/pictured. The 2nd bedroom was a bit small for 4 teenagers but it worked! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need! The only thing we needed to pick up was additional toilet paper & trash bags!!!! We had a wonderful stay!

Hilton Head Vacation

The property served our needs as a family of 5. It had just enough space to allow our children to sleep comfortably in their own room. The storage space was sufficient for us to store our travel items for a week long stay. Having 2 full bathrooms was convenient as well. The property wasn’t cleaned to my standards but was clean enough to give 4/5 stars. Location was ideal. Close to beach and other attractions. The resort amenities were nice, my kids liked the indoor pool but it was quite cold. Wish it was heated since we went in Feb. The fitness room was only 3 machines and a bench set, so we used the boardwalk and other activities for exercise. Overall we felt safe and comfortable in our vacation home!

The condo was nicely updated. Some areas such as bathrooms were extremely clean, however, other areas were quite dirty. There was obvious sticky residue on the floor, I cleaned up what seemed like dried ice cream from the floor that was there when we checked in. There were Cheese puffs under the master bed, trash under the couch, and trash from medication left on an end table in the living room. I called the maintenance team upon arrival to let them know about the medication trash upon arrival and to ask about beach towels since none were provided, I was offered beach towels as a courtesy due to the trash and they were delivered two days later. We did not discover the other trash/food until later in our stay. The maintenance team also helped me troubleshoot an issue with the TV. The resort is old...the main pool was very crowded and there was trash in the pool that was not cleaned after multiple days. In contrast, the boardwalk to the beach was beautiful and seemed to be well kept. Ultimately, our stay was fine. We loved the beach. We were just very disappointed at the inconsistent cleanliness of the condo and property.

A lovely space with all the amenities just a short walk from a great spot on the beach and a short drive from scenic shopping plazas.
