“I stayed at the Alpine Club in June with a friend. Contrary to the listing, there was no wireless internet anywhere on the property, no coffee/tea maker in the room, no laundry services, no iron or ironing board on request. While we were there there was also no hot water, when we wanted to bathe we would call for a bucket of hot water to be brought up to the room. “Initially I had reservations about the location of this hotel as it seemed a bit of a way from the main town, however it is an easy and enjoyable walk to the town along a quiet and picturesque road above the hotel. It's also a quick and cheap taxi ride. All in all I was very happy with the location as it meant I saw views I might not otherwise have seen. The hotel itself was excellent. “This a nice resort to stay in Dharamshala. Surroundings are nice and quite. Resort have spacious rooms with all amenities. Food was also good. Good bar and nice lawn to spend quality time with family. Speciality is having swimming pool in the resort. I spent good time here with my family.”
