Fantastic! The 5 King size bedrooms with comfy beds for all of us All of the amenities, the golf carts, the paddle boats, the large table, so we could all eat together & the screened in porch Such a wonderful place to stay thank you so very much for allowing us to share your beautiful home with us. Beautiful property, loved the private trails to explore. The bikes and golfcarts were great. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Enjoyed our family stay there. Only complaint - I struggled with the induction stove, I wish I would've thought to bring an electric frypan. 10/10 Would reccomend for a family getaway!

This was our fourth stay at this fabulous property and it was just as memorable as the first, second and third. We love this property so much that we extend each year's reservation to have more time enjoying another comfortable, relaxing stay, All of the Woodland Trails staff take pride in keeping the grounds and house in pristine condition. My sisters and I once again had a wonderful stay at Woodland Trails Lodge. We all agree it is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. It is meticulously clean, with all the amenities you could possibly want, and the lovely view from the many windows begs to be enjoyed. We definitely hope to return next year!

Family Reunion

A very wonderful experience. The house is beautiful and immaculate. All our needs were met. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. We had plenty ofnecessary towels and linens. Their special little touches were appreciated and unexpected. We had 11 people and more than enough room.The trails are great and well marked. So much fun driving the gulf carts on them.The firepit are is very nice. There is plenty of seating. Very wel maintained.I really can't say enough about this place. I highly recommend renting. You will not be disappointed.

Another great stay!

Aside from the rainy weather, the trip was great. We’ve stayed here before and this visit was just as good as the others. Amazing trails, fun paddle boats, and tons of space for lazy/rainy days full of games, puzzles, and movies. Had to reach out to the on-site caretakers for a small issue and they were at the door and resolved the issue within minutes. Amazing folks. Will be staying again for sure.

Solid as always.

This is probably the sixth time my family has rented this over the years. So much so that my 5 year old son believes that it’s our cabin. This visit was like the rest. Amazing. I’ll be back in a month with the other side of my family!

High School friends and spouses

This is our second stay and hope to have many more. We had everything we needed and never left. Each of 6 couple have own luxurious bedroom with own bathroom. Lots of things to do; riding golf carts on the trails, hiking, taking paddle boats for a spin, English Pub Billiards, bocce ball, and card playing. Amazing kitchen ! Barbeque. Very spacious ! Impressive and relaxing decor. Propery managers responsive. Highly recommend to others !

2025 Christmas in Hinkley

We were all so pleased with Wonderland Trail that we want to come back in May. They have thought through all your needs or wants in a big rental. From all the house amenities to feeding the wild life on the property. Each room is comfortably appointed for each family member. We had a great time and plan on returning. Thank You!

Best place ever!

Love this place! Everything is thought of, well stocked kitchen and we made all our meals here. So clean. Friendly staff. Great location with hiking. Saw so many deer! I have absolutely nothing negative to say! Recommend 100%.

Perfect family vacation

We spent Thanksgiving with 7 kids and 6 adults. My elderly parents loved the main floor bedroom. The kids loved being downstairs. We all loved having our own bathrooms! The kitchen was amazing and had everything we need for Thanksgiving.

Hinckley Haven

This fabulous lodge far exceeded our expectations! The spacious, well appointed rooms provided the perfect accommodations for our week long stay. Each bedroom has a sitting area and most rooms have a jacuzzi tub. We enjoyed the paddle boats, bikes and golf carts. We ventured into Danbury for an ATV adventure. The autumn leaves were spectacular. The lodge afforded everything you could want. The kitchen is amazing. Plenty of room for large groups and still maintain some privacy. Highly recommend!

Sixters Week

This venue was above and beyond our expectations. We used the golf carts daily to explore the property. We used the paddle boats, as well as the fire pit. The staff was friendly and very responsive. The place was spotless. We enjoyed so much we rebooked for next fall.
