Muy bonitas vistas y muy tranquilo

Me encantó quedarme en la granja. El onsen tiene una vista preciosa y desde la ventana del cuarto se alcanza a ver el océano. Hay que traer comida para cocinar los días que te quedes

Estancia perfecta

Estar en esta granja, rodeada del bosque de Miyajima, fue una experiencia inolvidable.Kenji, el anfitrión, fue muy amable y atento. Hablamos en inglés sin problema y me ayudó a entender mejor la cultura de la isla. Se nota que tiene mucha experiencia recibiendo viajeros y eso hizo mi estancia aún más cómoda.La casa estaba equipada con todo lo necesario, incluyendo una pequeña piscina exterior y un baño tradicional japonés que me encantó probar. Todo estaba impecable.Recomiendo este lugar a cualquiera que busque algo auténtico, íntimo y conectado con la naturaleza. Me voy de aquí renovado y con ganas de volver algún día.

No le gustó: Servicios y condiciones de la propiedad
Está muy lejos del puerto de Mijajima, no hay transporte para llegar allá. El propietario nunca me envio detalles de cómo sería el check in. Llegue de noche, me comuniqué con él y dijo que me había mandado ese mismo día un Mail de que me estaba esperando. El Mail nunca me lo envió por antelación. Estando ahí le dije, yo puedo llegar sola solo dime cómo. No, no hay forma de llegar a la granja. El no estaba ahí. Muy mala experiencia. No me reembolsaron nada y tuve que gastar en otro hotel.

This is a great place to be on Miyajima Island. It is remote on the top of the mountain, on the other side of the island from the ferry terminal. So getting around the island is a bit of a challenge. However, Kenji is a great host, it's a magnificent place to get away with spectacular views. Bring some food with you, relax and enjoy the nature of this farm!

Un endroit merveilleux à ne pas manquer. Nous regrettons d’y avoir passer qu’une seule nuit ! Notre hôte est venu nous chercher au ferry et nous y a reconduit le lendemain, il profitera du trajet pour vous faire découvrir le côté de l’île non touristique.

Avant tout, la gentillesse et l’accueil de Kenji. La singularité incroyable de ce lieu enchanteur, niché face à la mer, protégé par les daims, bercé par le chant des oiseaux. Quel incroyable moment nous avons passé là!

Staying at this farm was the perfect way to disconnect from busy city life and truly enjoy nature. Ken was incredibly friendly, sharing stories about how life is lived in this neighborhood and making the experience feel very authentic. The sunset here is absolutely amazing, and we really enjoyed the sundowner while taking in the beautiful views. Ken even shared some fresh vegetables grown on the farm, which made the stay feel even more special. Bathing here was also such a unique and relaxing experience. At night, it can feel a little scary if you’re not used to real nature and adventure, but that’s also part of the charm. I loved this “rancho” experience — but in Japan.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Kenji-san provided such a cozy comfortable stay on his organic farm with a one of a kind view of the Setouchi Inland Sea or as he calls it “the Japanese Mediterranean”. Kenji kindly gave us tour upon arriving and showed us all the facilities including a traditional cedar tub and we shared very engaging conversation on the drive to and from the property. Thank you to much to Japan’s last hippie - until next time.

The location was pleasant with great views and easy downhill walk to the water where you would be able to swim in the summer months. It is a location where you are away from the multitude you can relax and take in the mountain air. Beds were comfy host was lovely and generous with his garden. You must take your own food and drinks for your stay. We stayed 3 nights which we felt was enough as we are on the go persons. Also I believe general fitness is a must. Overall it was great.

It was a total experience to stay at Kenji‘s VRBO. In a beautifully rustic setting with gorgeous gardens and wildlife Lulling us to sleep along with a most amazing view of the water. I wish we had stayed another night but I would recommend highly for a truly magical stay!

Kenji picked us up from the ferry and took us on the long and winding road to his place, which is beautifully secluded and has stunning views over the Seto inland sea. He was super friendly, making sure we were settled in and giving us a basket of organic vegetables from his garden before leaving. The house is lovely, blending traditional Japanese house design with modern elements. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. We spent a lot of time on the deck and in the traditional Japanese bath. The property is surrounded by beautiful forests and is a short walk from the beach if you want a swim. We both love birdwatching and the birdlife in the area is amazing, with an abundance of Narcissus Flycatchers in the forests and Grey Nightjars which can be heard singing in the evening. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer!!

Die Aussicht ist unbeschreiblich. Man hat quasi sein eigenes Freiluftbad mit umwerfender Aussicht. Da niemand dort ist kann man auch ungestört das Bad sowie auch das Klo mit offener Tür benützen und die Aussicht genießen!

Super nuit dans la ferme de kenji, l'endroit est splendide avec une superbe vue sur le lac, le bain en semi exterieur est top ! Et kenji est un super hote qui a beaucoup ee chose a raconter, une personne tres interessante est tres gentil. Nous recommandons !

Endroit parfait pour passer un moment dans la forêt de Miyajima, dans une charmante ferme traditionnelle japonaise avec vu sur la mer. Chambres avec lits futon et cuisine parfaitement équipée. Il y a un chemin balisé pour atteindre le Mont Misen depuis la ferme, accessible pour les amateurs de randonnée et d'aventure dans la forêt, j'ai adoré. J'ai particulièrement aimé la baignoire en bois avec vue sur mer, idéal pour se détendre. Prise de contact avec l'hôte facile, et il est très sympathique, de plus il parle français.

Esperienza unica

Fantastico soggiorno in questa fattoria sull’isola di Miyajima. Il posto è molto isolato, proprio per questo è davvero speciale. Puoi stare a contatto con la natura, in una struttura tipica giapponese che ti farà provare l’autenticità di questo paese. La vista poi è mozzafiato. Dopo tanti giorni di città, vi consiglio davvero un po’ di relax in questo posto

Everything about our time at Kenji’s place was simply amazing. We stayed for two nights, and we spent our day there hiking around the island. We went all the way to the village by foot, and came back through the mountain via the Tsutsumigaura trail. Careful though, it wasn’t an easy hike! We had walked over 25km by the end of the day, but every step of it was absolutely worth it. We still cannot believe all of the beautiful landmarks we got to see that day. Otherwise, communication with Kenji was seamless. He is fluent in French and English. It was a pleasure getting to meet him and talk with him. The place is clean, well organized, and the view is majestic. I couldn’t recommend it more.

AHGV5B594321b* We had the most peaceful, beautiful stay at Kenji's farm on Miyajima Island! First of all, incredible location. I can't imagine many other people would have a way to get to that side of the island, it was so remote. Ken was very kind and drove us to and from his farm, even stopping partway both times to show us beautiful views of the island. He also helped us pick some veggies for dinner and then we were left to enjoy the farm on our own. The house itself was beautiful and has had a lot of love poured into it by Ken. I would recommend anyone visiting Miyajima to stay here!
