Everything was great! There was lots of room for our family of 5 and lots of entertainment space for the additional 14 people we hosted for a Saturday Christmas dinner. The weather was so nice (for December) we left the sliding glass door open from the living room into the screened in porch. We availed ourselves of the provided cornhole game and in the evening had a great fire in the fire pit. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of room for all the 'cooks' who where preparing dishes for our pitch-in Christmas dinner. Everyone dubbed it "The Christmas House" and returned on Sunday for games and pleasant conversation. Heck, we would have used the provided kayaks as well except the lake was very low (standard winter time water level) and the dock you launch from was in the mud instead of in the water. The hosts were very attentive to our needs and there were lots of amenities within 5 minutes of the house in Lakeside. Food City for groceries and fire wood, New China Restaurant for carry-out chinese food. Did not have a chance to try the Mexican restaurant.
