A brilliant place to stay.

A beautiful cozy, very friendly family hotel. The rooms were spotless, quiet and comfortable not the largest but plenty of space. The AC was fantastic, hot water, the room has a fridge, TV, a large window though the view is of the buildings opposite but still nice to look outside. Absolutely great value for money. The host was gracious and helpful gave me all the information and what to see and do. Even walked with me to help me book my bus ticket. A stone's throw from the main walking street with all the bars etc yet the room was quiet. Would happily stay again.

We booked the place because of the great reviews without realising it's actually in the middle of the backpacker district (we are maybe a little old for backpacking - or maybe not!!) And it was great!! Fantastic host, great location and really really quiet. The room had great air conditioning, a very comfortable bed and all for an incredible price. And right in the middle of the action, great restaurants and bars just around the corner.

The property was great! The rooms were air conditioned and the beds were comfortable. Vy was so helpful and accommodating in giving us tips on what to do and where to go for food and sightseeing. The room was quiet with no noise even though we were very close to some of the busy night areas. Would definitely stay again!

Great location with nice rooms and great staff.

This is an absolute gem of a place. Everyone's really friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Vy makes you a welcome drink and then gives you all the possible interesting information about the city you could need. The wifi is strong and the shower is amazingly powerful. When I'm back in Ho Chi Minh, I'll definitely be staying here !

2回目の滞在です。今回は空港からバスで行ったのですが、バス停から歩いて4分ほど、241のヘムに入ってすぐ左の路地にあります。ベトナム初めてだと最初は驚くかもしれませんが、安心安全な場所だと思います。今回はVyさんが居なくてお母さんとお父さんが対応してくださったのですが、英語も通じるしとても親切だし、宿は相変わらず清潔だしきちんとされているしで、快適に過ごさせて頂きました。お勧めできる宿です。

Pleasant Stay

The owner was extremely polite. When I checked in I was carrying two bags - One was quite heavy, but he assisted me and carried the same to my room on the 3rd floor. At the time of check in the owner's wife was not there. She carried the welcome drink on to my room and briefed about what to do and what not to do in that back packers area. Again on the day of my check out , their relative young Bill volunteered to carry the heavier of my two bags. But I insisted that he carry the lighter one from their guest house to the main road which is appr 50m. Overall my stay was comfortable and suffice the requirement of a solo traveler. Pros - Compact room, AC and very clean wash room. Cons - No lifts and not allowed to wear footwear inside the guest houses. However they allowed me to carry the shoes by hand to the room. What sets them apart is that they are eager to assist in all possible ways they can to make my stay comfortable.

Helpful host. Clean, good location

I had a warm welcome from the host. She sat down with me to to talk about some of the options nearby. A lot of time had gone into preparing an excellent city map full of info. The room was well air-conditioned and very clean. I'll be recommendeding to my friends when they pass through. I had a short stay but a great one!

The Best Value in District 1

The location is hard to beat, and the room prices are an absolute bargain considering the central location, in walking distance of all of the major tourist sites. The accomodations are spotless and comfortable as well, but the best thing about this place is the customer service. You can arrange airport pickups/drop-offs, tours, and get a lot of insight into all of the best things to do while in Saigon.

Good location and excellent value for money

I took the 109 Airport bus for 20,000 dong. The last stop is the bus station in the backpacker area which is about 10 minutes walk from the Vy Khanh Guesthouse. (or at least it would have been had I not got lost down the alleys in the backpacker area). When I did eventually arrive, a warm welcome and refreshing drink awaited me. It was a bit of a hike up the stairs to my room on the 4th floor but manageable. I was very pleased with the room; comfortable bed, fridge and decent bathroom, albeit a bit tiny. The TV didn't have a USB port so I was unable to watch any of the movies I had brought with me. The accommodation is located down a narrow alley so it's very quiet despite being relatively close to the busy main road. I slept really really well here. Each morning I was offered a tea or coffee and there's a great bakery just around the corner. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at the Vy Khanh Guesthouse.

We stayed for 5 nights. Ms Vy was warm, welcoming, very helpful with organising tours and giving us any information we needed. She greeted us with great Vietnamese coffee every morning as well as some fruit. Accommodation was mostly quiet (except for the occasional karaoke coming from the neighbours, but only during the afternoon). Our room was comfortable (bed very firm, but ok with us) and had everything we needed. We were very close to everything and saw the city on foot, no need for taxis. Excellentt value for money, highly recommend!

I have stayed at Vy Khanh Guesthouse several times and the place is always clean, safe and comfortable. Location is perfect for sight-seeing and very near some bus companies to Cambodia. Definitely highly recommended!
