The homestay is old but clean. The location is not very convenient, but it’s a good place for relaxing and staying for 1 or 2 nights to enjoy the beautiful views and nature. The staff are friendly, though luggage storage space is limited.

The Lotus Field Homestay was located in a breathtaking environment, with impeccably clean rooms and amenities, good food, and incredibly helpful staff to whom we owe our profound gratitude when one of our party members got very sick. We couldn't have asked for more from a property in Ninh Binh.

Amazing location with amazing staff, special call out to Duy & Finn for their friendly chats and warm smiles. We will always remember our 5-night stay there fondly, it was the perfect antidote to the bustling big cities.

The views were amazing! Our rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff are the friendliest people we have met, especially Finn and Duy. We also enjoyed bike riding, per complimentary of the property. We will definitely come back!

Stunning scenery all around the homestay. Would definitely come back if I had the opportunity. It is a bit of walk from the main road, but the homestay provides free bikes for guests to use. Amazing experience staying in this scenic setting.

One staff member was very kind. The others were distant or maintained a neutral response. The room was cool and damp and smelled of sewage. The food was below par and the breakfast was extremely limited and not appetizing. Only one or two bikes were in good shape. We are not picky, but this was the worst stay on our trip.

This property is idyllic. Insanely beautiful view. It is nestled at the back of the valley and you stay in a bungalow style room with a private patio that looks out over the valley. The bungalows are bigger than you think. Ours was quite large actually with 2 queen beds. We were in the last bungalow at the end and it was very private. There were lotus blossoms in the water in front of the bungalow and at night the fields were full of fireflies (amazing). Town is only a 15 min walk or 8 min bike ride. They offer free bikes (make sure you check the bike over before taking off because some have damaged wheels, brakes etc. We did not have any issues with ours. To help understand how close you are to everything... we actually walked back from Mua Caves in less than any hour but recommend a grab which is great here if you don't like to walk. Tran An boats etc. are all very close as well. While you get free breakfast at the homestay we opted to eat all other meals in town. The host at the homestay pronounced Zooey (I think his name is spelled Duy) was the most friendly person you will ever meet. He welcomed us by first names every time he saw us and made us feel like we were staying with family. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Vietnam. I cannot imagine there are many places that top this in Ninh Binh.

Wow! What a beautiful homestay tucked away in a private corner of Ninh Binh. The views and hospitable staff were amazing - they truly went above and beyond to make our time at the lotus field wonderful. At night, there were loud karaoke parties nearby that echoed across the cliffs that we weren’t expecting, and most of the bikes were in tough condition, but all and all 10/10 would recommend a stay here!

L’établissement est très agréable, avec un personnel aimable et accueillant. Les chambres sont propres et dotées d’un air climatisé fonctionnel. Toutefois, l’emplacement est relativement éloigné des restaurants et cafés et activités, ce qui peut rendre les déplacements moins pratiques. Dans l’ensemble, une expérience positive!

A rustic gem that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but it's just a short walk/cycle from Tràng An. Helpful staff were great at helping me organise tourism and airport transfers and I loved the location so much that I stayed an extra night. Bungalow 5 has possibly the best view from any toilet seat on the planet.

We loved our stay! The property has beautiful views and is so peaceful. We saw monkeys just outside our door! The breakfast is delicious- try the banana pancakes and lunch and dinner options were great too. The staff was so helpful. Duy and Tri helped with our transportation and tour bookings. They were so fun and kind and we loved talking to them every day. I would not hesitate to recommend this place!

We stayed one night at Lotus Field Homestay and it was wonderful. The staff were attentive and helpful, the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was included and was quite tasty. It was a 15 min walk to the closet “town” area with plenty of restaurants to choose from and shops to get any snacks needed. The location was off the beaten path and very peaceful and idyllic. The lotus flowers were not in bloom while we were there, however I can only imagine how much more beautiful the landscape gets when they are. Overall highly recommend!
