Continue through the original cottage and the home opens into a spacious modern kitchen, dining and living area.

Large windows frame panoramic views across the Derwent River, Hobart and the surrounding hills. By day, watch the city and river activity below. In the evening, relax and enjoy the lights of Hobart from the comfort of the living area.

The open-plan living and dining area is designed to make the most of the views.



The dining table seats six and is positioned overlooking the city and river, while the comfortable living area provides plenty of space for families, couples and small groups to relax together.



With two separate living areas, guests also have room to spread out during longer stays.

Omaroo House is located on the edge of the CBD, making it easy to explore Hobart on foot. Restaurants, cafes, city shopping and the waterfront are all within easy reach.



Local favourites including Pigeon Hole and Queens Pastry are nearby, while Salamanca, Constitution Dock and Hobart's waterfront are just minutes away.



The location also provides convenient access to kunanyi / Mount Wellington and is a great base for exploring Southern Tasmania.



Getting Around:

On street parking is available directly in front of the property and subject to availability. There are also 2-hour limit spaces in certain sections.
