Tropical Cottage

The cottage was in a nice quiet neighborhood and was exceptionally clean with many thoughtful details to make our stay comfortable. Our hosts were friendly and quick to respond Would definitely recommend this property to anyone travelling to this area.

Fantastic cottage in Hobe Sound

Another great stay!!

This quaint hideaway has been our go to for several years. The property owners live in premise but you would never know it! Pat and Tracy are delightful and easy to deal with! The small added touches of a bottle of water and some snacks at check in is a nice touch! This place is minutes from the beach, shopping and restaurants - we will be back!!

Great little Hobe Sound location

Great location, very good communication for check-in. Only one thing that needs addressed. The mattress and bedding need to be updated. The sheet kept coming off the mattress exposing the plastic mattress protector. Other than that very nice cottage!

Super stay in magical Hobe Sound

Perfect for family overflow

The stay at Tropical Hobe Sound Cottage couldn't have been better. The cottage is very attractive with a great outside seating area. The location is super. Highly recommended.

Hobe Sound Haven

Had a tremendous stay at this bungalow. Managers are friendly, easy-going, and accommodating, and the property is lovely. Great location, also, with proximity to beach, nature preserves, and restaurants. Would definitely atay here again!

Great location

We were in Florida to help my in-laws in Stuart. Our location in Hobe Sound was quiet and near both family and the beach. The cottage was completely adequate for everything we needed. Our hosts were helpful and attentive.

Great location and perfect for a couples weekend getaway

Great property that is close to downtown Hobe Sound an the beach. Property was clean and hosts thought of every detail. We loved being able to use the chairs and umbrella available for the beach. We had a little trouble with the door access, but I think the lock was just low on battery. Communication was good, and we would stay here again.

This was an A experience. The cottage was very clean and incredibly well-provisioned. There were even snacks and cold bottled water when we arrived after a long day of travel. We loved the adorable patio for our morning coffee and the convenience of its location. The loft is tight for standing but there is a walk-in closet downstairs which was perfect for our clothes and getting dressed. It should be noted that the stairs can be tricky since the ceiling is sloped at the top (need to stoop when on the top steps) but it was doable for us. This is not a negative but should be noted for those with any physical limitations. The hosts were super-communicative and responsive to any questions we had. We would love to stay here again.

Spring Training

Went to see the Astros spring Training, and this cottage was perfect. We had everything we needed, and it was a great place to stay. Beautiful beaches seconds away, and many restaurants within a short distance. We would love to come back. Thank you.

Delightful cottage and town

The cottage was lovely. Very well curated and appealing. Quality furnishings - very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. The listing is very accurate - the loft is a short ceiling and the steps up steep. I am 5’5” and I was a solo and found it awkward to dress in the loft so I did it downstairs. Kitchen was great. TV and wireless excellent. In a great location, very private, quiet and safe and walkable to great restaurants and shops. Communication with the owner was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Enjoyable Stay

This cute little cottage is located in a perfect spot. Close to the beach, shopping and has a lot of places to bike, walk or play tennis or pickle ball. The hosts were very considerate, and the place was well supplied and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and also enjoyed watching the hummingbirds in the flowers outside the windows.

Relaxing Getaway

Everything was great. Beautiful and clean. Location was perfect too. Tracy was very kind. The ceiling where the bedroom is - definitely lower than I expected, especially at the top of the stairs. Other than that the cottage was perfect for the 2 of us.

Property owner was onsite and made the check in very easy. It’s a wonderful house!!

I can’t wait to stay there again. The neighborhood is wonderful and quiet. They have dogs that I wish I could have met. There’s a private outside space to sit and have coffee or a meal. Make sure to check out Sweeties Ice Cream Shop in Hobe sound. I look forward to my next visit.

Can't Wait to go Back!

If your dream Florida vacation includes a cozy cottage by the sea, look no further. This adorable, clean home is perfect for one person. More than adequate, even good for two or more. The host, Tracy, could not be more accommodating. The house is well stocked with everything you need, and she thought of and provided extra touches too. I have stayed in many other home stay places and this is by far my favorite. My only regret is that I did not book enough time. I will be back. Thanks Tracy!

Spring training

Great location. Owner was quick to call a repairman when air conditioning wasn’t properly working. We attended several spring training games and enjoyed breakfast and cocktails on the patio outside.

Cute cottage

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage as we went to numerous Spring Training games and the beach while visiting. It was my husband and I with our little dog. We had everything we needed and plenty of space for us. If we had 1 more person, it would have been cramped for a week’s stay. Jen and Luis were very nice and hospitality. We would stay again for a short visit for sure! My husband is 6’1” so could never stand up in the loft because the ceiling height. For a few days he was fine with it but after that, he was tired of hunching to walk around to get to bed :) I’m 5’3” and could stand straight up on one side of the room so I was okay. Only pointing this out for future guests to consider when booking because this could make some people uncomfortable, especially with back issues.

Colorful Comfortable Cottage that meats your needs!

Jenn is a wonderful host. Very quick to respond and helpful. The three of us- one being our rescue pup were happy with this as our home base for exploring both Stuart and Jupiter on the look out for the best off leash dog beaches. The pictures and the cottage match which is not often the case. And although were were worried about the upstairs low ceiling it was not a problem for a comfortable nights sleep.

Lovely and clean cottage

The space was clean and had a roomy layout. The owners were friendly and welcoming and it’s about 1.5m to the beach in the quiet town of Hobe Sound. The space is attached to the main home and has its own entrance but you’re kind of surrounded by the owners house and property and the outdoor space is also quite tiny. The loft is def not for tall people so watch your head walking up and down the stairs. Clean and had all nice amenities just not nearly as private as I had hoped for - I had believed it to be a stand alone cottage. But if that’s not your thing, I highly recommend it!

We do state on this listing that the homeowners live in a separate home on the same property, and this information is available to all travelers prior to deciding to book. However, we're sorry if you missed that detail and were expecting something else. Charming beach cottage and courtyard

We couldn't have found a cuter place. It is absolutely adorable. Perfect in many ways! We love the private entrance and courtyard. The cottage is a good space, especially for a small family of 3 to 4 people for a week or a few days. The loft sleeping area has been whimsical for our son. We sleep comfortably up there. We brought an air mattress for our 6-year old. I have hit my head on the slanted roof more than once but no big deal. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, utensils/items needed for cooking. Jen and Louis were kind enough to even have munchies and breakfast available for us when we arrived. There are all sorts of ways to make coffee...be it Cuban, drip or Keurig. They are great hosts and really thought of everything. We will be back even though my family lives nearby. It is truly a home away from home.
