“The Friendly Staff and the Lady that was Servicing the Rooms on Saturday was Awesome. The Restaurant Staff on Saturday Night (The Waitress and the Bar Person) was Awesome as well, Down to the Food that was provided for the Dinner that Night was Beautiful. Sorry I did not get Names but they will know who they are, and we were too full on Sunday to get Breakfast. The Accommodation was Excellent and the Bed was so Comfortable we will be back.”

“Great location if working in the Far North. Beachside rooms are spacious and and tidy. Wifi and mobile reception is minimal which isn't a bad thing. On site restaurant is great for dinner and breakfast. The staff here are great and will go out of their way to help. One issue do a better corporate rate and you will be full.”

“This is a really beautiful place and the room was enormous and the layout was so in keeping with the heritage level of the building. There was a tea set for tea or coffee, a king sized bed, a sofa for relaxing and a bath. Total luxury!”

“Beautiful spot by the river with river walk and kayaks for hire - we stayed in pet friendly cabin with bunks for 5, fridge and good supply of crockery but lots of other camping options including lovely glam tents with private balconies overlooking the river - cool communal dining area with pizza oven and trays of pizza making - staff very helpful and allowed early check-in”

“Although a little quirky, and perhaps a bit tired Beachcomber Lodge provides a good backpackers hostel venue. There's a well-equipped guest kitchen and the room was fine. ”
