Lovely place; clean, updated, spacious, and a beautiful view. Recommend replacing entrance code box, we had to try multiple times each time we came back to the house to get the door unlocked.

Lovely home!

Great girls trip! We came for the Tulip Festival but enjoyed the house more. Penalty of room and bathrooms.

Great property and management team!

The team at Freshwater Vacation Rentals was very easy to communicate and do business with. We ended up having a great stay at "Zzz's by the C" and were impressed by the property. Would definitely be happy to stay at one of their properties again

Beautiful House/Great Property - Big Enough for Whole Family

Our family had a great time at this property in beautiful Holland, MI. The house has everything we needed and more - an incredible house with amazing views and wonderful amenities. We ended up spending far more time than anticipated at the house, including almost every meal - because we enjoyed it so much. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Holland, MI.

Perfect for enjoying Michigan summer!

Visiting family from out of state was more enjoyable in this house! We had some questions when we first checked in, and they were very responsive despite a late evening check in. Clean, updated house with close proximity to Holland activities (without being too close). Definitely recommended for families!

Girls weekend

We had a great weekend at the house! The house was so beautiful and well stocked with linens, kitchen items and paper products. The beach and fire pit were lovely! Only downside for us was the amount of trash left behind in the driveway from the guests before and the floors were not clean when we arrived.

Beautiful

The home is beautiful, well kept and equipped with all the essentials. The views are directly of Lake Michigan offering beautifully exquisite sunsets. And the beach is walkable. Questions were promptly answered by management. It is a beautiful property that offers all sorts of experiences.

Perfect for families

We were here with our daughters and their families. We loved the spacious layout of the home and it was beautifully decorated! The views of Lake Michigan were priceless! Pleasantly surprised that the kitchen was so fully stocked - everything we needed was there! We appreciated the private, quiet location and the drive into Holland was quick and easy. Would definitely recommend staying here! We would love to come back.

Great Pre Holiday Get Away

The home accommodations were well suited for all of us 7 adults 2 kids. The great room was were we all spent the majority of our time while gathering. The property management team was very helpful with a minor mishap when we arrived to the property. The view of Lake Michigan was the star of the show. Quiet neighborhood and away from the city but still close enough to stores if needed. Thank you ZZZ @ the C

Annual family weekend

The location of this property was amazing. Very pricey for what we got though. The house needs some updating. Very disorganized home. For the price we paid $$$$, there should have been: working keypad, fireplace, dish washer, soap would have been nice. Nice

Great lakeside getaway

A couple hiccups but it didn't ruin the visit. While I felt the issues shouldn't have happened given the high end rental I chose, the property manager was responsive and that makes a great difference. Would definitely go back with a slightly larger group.

Meyer Family 2024 Summer Vacation

We had a GREAT time at Zzz's by the C! The property manager was extremely responsive for the two minor issues we had...needed a garden hose to rinse off sand (they brought us a new one right away!) and the propane grill did not function (and was replaced with brand new grill the following morning!). Roomy home with plenty of space for 12 -- 8 adults and 4 children. Very much enjoyed the private beach, swing chairs, fire pit, and porch -- awesome outdoor space! There was an ample supply of beach chairs, sand toys, and beach towels. The kitchen was well-stocked, even if cabinet storage was slightly disorganized. The only negative was that there was not a separate pantry or dedicated cabinet for food storage, so we used counter space for our food dry goods. Home was stocked with lots of paper towels, TP, etc. (in our VRBO experiences this is not always the case). Bedrooms all had high quality bedding and linens. Fun family room area with lots of seating options and a dining room table that accomodated our entire group of 12. We would definitely stay here again. Fantastic location; private beach; spacious home; downtown Holland shops; good restaurant options; etc. Short drives to other nearby towns as well, when we wanted to explore. 5/5 star rating!

The Amazing View

We loved the view of Lake Michigan especially the sunsets. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. It was a spacious home with so many bedrooms, bathrooms and sitting areas. The swings, fire pit and porch seating were fantastic! And it was really nice to have a private beach. We were expecting a few more beds in the west second floor bedroom. The door to the east second floor bedroom stuck and could not be opened by the individuals inside the bedroom. On the first night they had to yell for assistance from other family members to open the door from the hall. Also, we were a little afraid the front door may have been difficult to open if we had to leave in a hurry and were unable to quickly unlock it with the key or if we had misplaced the key. A mug had powder stuck to the inside of it. A dish and bowl had food stuck to them. We didn't have hot water in the basement bedroom shower, We had a fantastic time, but if these little things would have addressed, the experience would have been absolutely perfect! Thanks for the unforgettable time! We loved being together as a family in such a beautiful home that was close to all the Tulip Festival events.

Unbelieveable views and Beautiful Home, but some areas for improvement

This house is all about the views of the lake! Simply stunning vistas off the bluff and the outdoor firepit and porches are amazing. That alone makes this place spectacular. The house had been recently renovated and is comfortable and well-stocked. Its about 20 minutes north of Holland, Michigan. So just enough time to feel "away from it all" but not be too far removed. There were a few uneven aspects to the stay, though. Before detailing those, I'll say that the hosts were extremely responsive to each inquiry and did all they could to make our stay pleasant. We'd certainly return. That said, there are a few areas that can be addressed to make it a 5 star property. 1. The checkin process described did not work. They gave us a code to use on a keypad, but this did not work. After a phone call and some efforts, physical keys were provided that we used. 2. The upstairs fireplace was not operational. Given some cold evenings, this would have been very nice to have. 3. The hot water heater couldn't keep up. One morning, we had 1 person through the shower and then 2 more were going into the bath and shower simultaneously and the hot water ran out. It rejuvenated after about 30 minutes, but for a big house, it would be ideal to have enough capacity for everyone to shower. 4. The front door could only be opened with a key -- even from the inside! This is dangerous in the case of an emergency. 5. There was a musty smell. 6. Blinds on east-facing windows would be nice

Great property for boys trip

Had our annual golf trip/reunion with 7 guys here, plenty of places to sleep. Property was excellent and managed very well. Such a cool location on a cliff overlooking Lake Michigan. Will definitely consider staying here next year

Fabulous location

We rented this home to celebrate a virtual family wedding from 2 years ago. The home itself was beautiful, spacious and well-equipped, but the view of Lake Michigan was spectacular! We were hoping for warmer weather to walk the beach. Although we didn't get that, we did get to see some beautiful wave action on the lake. There was plenty of parking space for several cars. The property is also very private. We had mostly adults with us, so we had to do some juggling with sleeping arrangements as there were 5 bedrooms, but more family units. Other than that we were very happy with the accommodations. Be aware that some of the beds have wheels on them - nice for adjusting the room, but you could be surprised if you are not careful when you sit on the edge! There were many extra supplies such as towels, blankets and kitchen wares, so you won't need to bring much for a shorter stay. I hope we get a chance to stay at Zzz's by the C again!
