    Discover this unique lighthouse vacation rental w/private pool on Anna Maria Island. The Lighthouse has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with an open plan living/kitchen/dining which is perfect for a family vacation or getaway with friends. Located in Holmes Beach, the home is only a short walk (approx. 6 min) to the beautiful Gulf beach. The house has been lovingly decorated with retro memorabilia creating a vintage americana aesthetic. Enjoy our budget-friendly pricing.

    There is parking for one compact car in the garage and two cars in the driveway. You can also rent a golf cart from Hodo Golf Carts, Beach Bums or Zoom Around to explore the island at a leisurely pace. Alternatively, rent one of our 6 bicycles subject to availability. There is also a free island trolley service which runs daily around the island (approximately every 20 min) with a trolley stop located just outside the property.

We had a fantastic stay at the Lighthouse! The host's communication was excellent from start to finish, making everything easy and stress-free.The property itself was so much fun and beautifully decorated, with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. It had everything we needed and more, including beach supplies, which was great. The pool was the perfect size for a few floaties and provided a lovely place to relax. The location was ideal, only a few minutes from the beach, and centrally situated between the northern and southern shops, making it easy to get around and explore. It was very convenient with the shuttle bus stopping just outside.Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and we would definitely book here again. Highly recommended!

Amazing!

This place is amazing! My family and I absolutely loved it. Very spacious and decorated beautifully. The beds were wonderful.

Property was very clean, roomy and had a fun atmosphere. The layout was great so that people could spend time together or have their own space at the end of the day. Property was well stocked with basic supplies as well as a well stocked kitchen and nice beach equipment and a cooler. Overall good location in Holmes Beach - although the property is on the main road so it can be noisy with traffic when sitting outside or enjoying the pool. Short walk to the beach (this had originally been a concern but once we walked it I realized it was an easy, quick 5 minute walk). Host was responsive when needing assistance. Would stay again!

The Lighthouse is charmingly unique, clean, and comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We made good use of the kitchen and gas grill. The pool is very private despite being in front of the house. The folding chairs, umbrellas and other beach gear in the garage came in very handy. The garage is perfect for a rented golf cart, the primary means of transportation on AMI. The host, Valerie, was very communicative. We would love to stay again if it is available next time we come to AMI.

Great Location & Great House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse! The house’s central location on the island made it very easy to visit the north or south areas of the island. The house had all of the amenities and more than we could imagine. Communication with Valerie from beginning to end was great! She even checked on us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the unique decor and layout of the house and loved the pool area. We hope to be back soon!

Look no further, this is the place for you.

The Lighthouse in Holmes Beach is a large comfortable interesting home with everything you may need for your vacation. The beds were excellent! It was a very easy walk to the beach and there was also parking available there if you prefer to drive. The owner of the home was wonderful to work with and we would happily rent here again. No need to look further, this is the place!

Simply the best stay you can imagine!

We'd watched The Lighthouse being built and stayed in the owners rentals before and loved them so we were thrilled to be one of the first to get the chance to stay here. It's fabulous, like being in a movie and on the trolley route when you don't fancy driving. Can't recommend this highly enough , and great value too.

Had an enjoyable stay at The Lighthouse

We enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse more than we could ever express. Seabreeze management was quick to respond to any questions and were so happy to help at any moment. We enjoyed the pool every day, as well as the amazing view standing atop the lighthouse balcony. This was an unforgettable experience. Clean house, aesthetic architecture and design, wonderful amenities, close proximity to the beach, amazing management... 10/10 stars in the heart of Anna Maria Island!

Fantastic - we would not hesitate to book again!

Six of us (three generations) stayed here during a hot February week and found The Lighthouse to be ideal and quite stunning - so much so that my two young ones were ready to explore every nook and cranny of the building after 17 hours of travel! We met Valerie twice, she was helpful, enthusiastic and keen to ensure that our holiday went to plan - it did. Great location - huge, unspoiled beach 5 mins walk; bars / shops 10 mins walk; supermarket 3 mins drive; Tampa International 75 mins drive (on a clear run) and so much to do in the area you simply cannot do everything. If we ever head back to Anna Maria Island then we will look to rent The Lighthouse again.

The Lighthouse

Pros: 1) short walk to the beach-7 minutes, 2) very nice availability of beach toys, bikes, beach chairs, 3) nice and clean small pool in the front of the house (about 7’ x 13’), 4) updated kitchen and flooring on the first floor 5) patriotic theme (USA and British Flags, John F Kennedy memorabilia on first floor) Cons: 1) Worn and dirty carpeting on the winding stairs going to second floor bedrooms (stain noticed on landing outside bedroom), 2) sofas in living room a bit worn (especially the red one), and dated accessories-furniture (tables, etc). 3) the house sits/faces the main road and unless you google where the house is located, you would never know that from the descriptive picture!(we unfortunately did not do that). For the price, the house is not up to par compared to other similarly priced rentals. Valerie the owner was responsive and attentive however.

Fun and Kitschy Property!

The Lighthouse is fun and kitschy with model boats and JFK memorabilia throughout, my 3 year old son loved it and the small heated pool. It was equipped with everything needed. Overall, we did enjoy our time.

One-of-a-kind property on AMI!

The Lighthouse is a fabulous, one-of-a-kind property on AMI. It is meticulously decorated with nautical and American memorabilia from top to bottom, and on the outside as well. From the furniture to the pictures, from the architecture to the models and knickknacks, no detail is too small. The house is spacious, well laid out, and has a lighthouse tower deck with wonderful views. Plenty of pool gear, plenty of dishes and kitchen space, ample rooms for working, dining watching movies, etc. It is a comfy home away from home, and The owners are terrific.

AMI April 2021

This was our 5th trip to AMI, we just love it here. This house was 1000% as described and Valerie was AMAZING with her communication. The only thing I would make a bit more clear is that Palm Blvd during our week was very busy with traffic. While not a huge deal, it was rather noisy from the vehicle traffic. Aside from that, the house was really perfect and was equipped with everything we could possibly need. Oh, the pool and the pool deck area, fantastic!!!! -The Gordon Family

Quaint and unique home within walking distance from everything. Loved it!

If you want a unique home stay, this is it. Touches of 60’s, American decor has a small but very nice pool, all of the amenities, beach items including towels, chairs etc to make your travel light. Everything is within walking distance but the free Trolley runs consistently. We didn’t even need to take it because we walked all of the time. We loved the beaches, Slim’s for dinner along with The Wicked Cantina. Traffic does get backed up coming on and off the island so plan accordingly. GREAT time!

Anna Maria Island Lighthouse

The house was perfect for our Spring Break getaway. What made it even better was the great decor of the home and the beach essentials (towels, chairs, floats, etc.). The location was perfect, an easy walk to the beach and a short drive to anything you need. We had a wonderful relaxing time.
