“Last weekend we stayed at the Wiveton Bell for two nights. I have to report that the pub has changed hands since we were last there. The room we had was well appointed; a small snug with two easy chairs, coffee table and sideboard ......kettle, coffee machine, magazines etc.... and a separate roomy bedroom with a TV and plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space plus a modern ensuite.  We had several issues regarding the room. When we arrived at 4pm we had to wait for it to be serviced.  It was apparent...

“Great location in wells, ample parking outside the pub. Excellent and helpful staff. Clean and cool room (great air conditioning in this weather).. There was a pub quiz in the evening, great food, and the breakfast was wholesome and hearty’ The only issue was the smell from the bathroom (likely the sewage).”

“We stayed at this hotel twice in two different rooms. First we booked the deluxe room and everything was fantastic, the second time we booked the double room and it was not nearly as good. Room was small and the bathroom was tiny. The hotel itself however is beautiful, has a lovely peaceful garden surrounding it and the food is incredible! There is plenty of parking. Would definitely return however would make sure to book the upgraded room.”

I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. The room is very well presented and incredibly clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was spotless and of a decent size. Paid extra for the Full English...

“The Hotel looked excellent - unfortunately we weren't able to stay there - why? Because the hotel was closed for refurbishment - and EXPEDIA failed to notify us prior to travelling - and also EXPEDIA refused to share our phone number with the hotel so they were unable to inform us in advance of our arrival - fortunately the hotel staff were able to assist us in gettinga ccomodation nearby. Unbelievably EXPEDIA is also now asking us to review our stay despite being advised - again - that the...
