The property sits high on a hill, good spot for sunsets. We recommend getting there during daylight but we've arrived after dark before and the host was able to guide us to the lodging. We like coming here for several nights at the start of our trip, it's not that far from the airport and it's nice and private. The bed had a nice cozy comforter and the bed was comfortable.

Everything was perfect, we had all that we needed. It was a nice quiet location away from the crowds located up in coffee country. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a stove to make our own breakfast. Lori our host was very nice and responsive if we needed anything This is a duplex, with a family that lives next door with two adorable little girls and a dog named Diesel, he would come and say hi daily and give us our doggie fix. We would stay there again if we were so lucky to visit the island again.

This place gave us a true "old Hawaii" feel. The road to the home was rural and authentic. Away from the crowds, yet close to everything. Very clean, fully stocked and so much better than a hotel. Have to say "Diesel" the dog gave us quite the welcome. The bed and pillows super comfortable.

Great stay, we enjoyed it. Stayed here for the last 2 nights of our Hawaii trip, and it worked out well. Beautiful sunset view. Road leading to house is a little steep and rough, but no big deal, host provided detailed directions complete with pictures that really helped us. If you are scared of dogs, be aware there is a dog that "greets" you with an intimidating bark, but he is actually quite a sweetheart and we love dogs so wasn't a problem, just a surprise. Appreciated the use of dryer to dry our swim gear before packing up. House had everything we needed. Good communication from host. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a working coffee plantation. ATV’s bomb passed your window starting at 5:30 a.m. all day back and forth until 6 or 7 p.m.

The lower Haluloa Einar country home was very quaint and very pretty. Loved the location and the weather with the cool night breezes and the days that were perfect!

Beautiful and quiet

My husband and I like a rural country setting with cool nights, with the beautiful nature and local coffee, orange, banana and palm trees. we enjoyed the sunsets and sunrises on the patio.
