“Nice distances from places of interest and food. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the kitchen was out of action, but the staff were accommodating in this issue. I we really enjoyed are stay. ”

“I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Five men on motorbikes on annual trip. We need someone quiet and safe for the bikes, somewhere to put our gear and good ale and a meal. The Cottage Inn met our requirements perfectly. OK, it could do with a refresh but it was good value for money. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.”

“All worked perfectly with the handover. The instructions are very good for finding the house as GPS can be unreliable up there. It is way off the beaten track and very isolated. The road is bumpy but you do not need an SUV. The accommodation is very nice and we wanted for nothing as we brought up everything. The owner left some treats for us. “We had a relaxing 3 night stay with Carolyn. Lovely bedroom with large en-suite bathroom in a peaceful, rural location. We enjoyed the breakfasts as well as Carolyn’s home cooked evening meals, both of which gave lots of choice. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Carolyn 🙏”
